In the southern cone we have good movies. The reason why they are almost always unknown in the outside world because the movies we make, we do them for ourselves, and about ourselves.
Of course a brainlet like OP that only knows about a movie if the google search
results come up in English will never know about our films. Also fucking LMAO at bilingual people (monolinguals aren't even fucking people)
Aside from that, we also have the budget constraints that come with being in an insignificant country at the edge of the world, so normally movies made here are limited to being set in the present or recent past.
