Pretty much this. Everything a zoomer sees is literally "the best tv show/movie i've ever seen". Riverdale, Big Mouth, Avengers Endgame all fall into this categorization.

UK is a LOT more grounded in the early seasons, so you become a lot more attached to the cast.
