You won't be prosecuted for pirating movies, just ignore the emails, they only do it scare people. But if you're really paranoid, just join a private tracker.

Mine shuts you down and forces you to call in to start it back up. Any browser you use brings up the "YOU ARE A PIRATE" message, but it's Altice which is straight trash. We're getting fiber before the end of July and they are just now coming out to do proper maintenance and improve the lines. I'm supposed to get 400 mb/s but I never get more than 100.

The fiber costs the same, but even if I get 101mb/s it will be worth it to not give money to Altice anymore.

If it's a big isp, you're fine. They don't tend to care unless you're seeding big time. They just pass on the message from whoever caught you.

Smaller isps tend to get pissy about it though. Mostly through throttling or cancellation of service.

Get peerblock, find some better trackers, and seed less.

You could learn to torrent from Russian sites like rutorrent. They don't monitor those swarms. And they ironically have much better seeders and selection than English torrent sites.

So yeah, just find that shit by Googling it and Reddit.

I have subhuman-tier download speeds where I live in the US, under my monopoly ISP. Streaming isn't the best option for where I'm at, especially for large high res files. I have used exactly what you're talking about before. I also steal other things than just movies

Yeah, you can be the fastest internet in town if you're the only internet in town. One time I called in and they wanted my account number and I told them I have never received a bill and was just paying it online through auto-bill pay through my bank and she wouldn't look up any of my other information. It was an honest-to-god nigger and so I just started listing off strings of numbers because she couldn't hang up on me. Eventually she transferred me to customer retention and they scheduled a tech to come out. Who never did.
