Imagine actually having watched every single one of these.

North by Northwest
Rear Window
To Catch a Thief
Charade

I like him but I prefer James Mason (no homo).

I don't know their names but the girls from Alone and Come Wander with Me.

that one where he buys to his lover a house next to him and buttfuck each other every night.

There is no proof they were gaylords

East of Eden > Rebel Without a Cause > Giant

Roman Holiday
Cape Fear
Moby Dick

Roman Holiday is so fucking comfy. Peck and Hepburn in the same movie was amazing

Grant-Father Goose

Peck-Twelve O'Clock High

It was good, it wasn’t “amazing”
Just because it was made before the 90’s doesn’t mean you can’t like it without gushing over it like a teenager on tumblr

North by Northwest

Attached: Hitchcock Suggests you kill yourself..jpg (960x1133, 285K)

What the fuck are you talking about? You sound like such a fucking faggot.
I can like whatever I want as much as I want. I'm a huge fan of Peck and Hepburn and seeing them in a fun comfy film together was great.
Go back to your Avengers threads, incel

Cary Grant is a bit gay. James Stewart and Humphrey Bogart are the greatest.

DAE wrong generation

Start with North by Northwest, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Charade

Could one of you tell me the way to get to Innisfree?

Holiday
Bringing Up Baby

> I want to watch some films with Cary Grant. What are the essentials and where to start?

The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer, is one of my favorites. It stars Grant, Myrna Loy, and a teenage Shirley Temple.

POST HOTTEST GOLDEN ERA ACTRESSES!

Philadelphia Story and Only Angels Have Wings.

Spellbound

vertigo is the best hitchcock movie

Did you get that opinion from IMDB?

The best Hitchcock movie is Rebecca.

Audrey Hepburn is my favorite

okay.

>and to keep it on topic: Cary Grant starred opposite Lana Turner in Topper, Ingred Bergman in Notorious, and Hepburn in The Philadelphia Story.

>no His Girl Friday

It Happened One Night is better

>best Hitchcock is Rebecca

Is it useful to know that Cary Grant was a little known aficionado of LSD, and used his experiences with the drug to improve his acting skills?

One of the two founders of Alcoholics Anonymous was an aficionado of LSD. Turning down the chance to do it was the biggest mistake of my life.

John Ford f150

The Big Country

Bringing Up Baby is fucking kino if nobody's said it yet.

His Girl Friday is literally the best comedy ever made, and it just happens to star Cary Grant. Watch that.

literally who

based and quietpilled

> Hollywood's golden era
you mean precode and 2010s?

cinema

Bringing Up Baby

Rear Window was James Stewart.

Grant was in Notorious with Ingrid Bergman, which is another great Hitchcock film.

based

To Catch a Thief
North by Northwest
Arsenic and Old Lace
Bringing Up Baby
Charade
Operation Petticaot
Monkey Business
And after that all the romcoms which are pretty good as well.

Roman Holiday
Moby Dick
Cape Fear
Spellbound
(For me:) The Bravados
The Big Country
The Omen, if you're into that.
Mirage
Designing Woman
And after that all the western movies.

Hitchcock is SHIT

I did. I also watched these:

Top Hat-era Ginger Rodgers is peak dollface

My vote goes for Rear Window.

Cary Grant was a finook. whatever happened to Gary Cooper the strong, silent type? you go around in pity for yourself.

Notorious

The Gunfighter

If you like Mason check out Five Fingers, one of the best spy movies

>Only Angels Have Wings.
An absolute masterpiece over shadowed by the rest of Hawks filmography

Thanks, fren.

Why James Mason?

What's so great about it? I disliked it.

He had that kind face when he smiles.

>Rear Window was James Stewart
Thanks, you're right. I got them mix up.

For me, it's The 39 Steps.

Classic movies are just capeshit for boomers

What’s this pic supposed to be pointing out?

North by Northwest is essential

Essential good taste.

It's what the Kid was to slapstick, but to witty snappy comedic dialogues like in His Girl Friday or Bringing Up Baby.

> Gaslight, 1944.

Also Night of the Hunter is a great thriller and Robert Mitchum gives a pretty scary performance.

Charade is comfy Kino

> The Set-Up, 1949.

Sorry, I didn't even know about the first one so I can't say much about it. The 1954 movie is great. I won't spoil too much, but the movie goes to Morocco and then to the UK. The two main characters can be empathized with and James Stewart is a strong character which more movies need.

90% of 'known' movies before 1960 are boring shit, go fuck yourselves

>The Guys of Navarone
>The O'men
>The Boys from Brazil
Based

James Stewart was in Rear Window. Not a Cary Grant Movie.
