Why do they keep focusing on Joker any time they want to make actual kino? You could have done the same approach with any other big name villain and showed things from their perspective. It would have been much more fresh. Would have loved to seen some Riddler kino backstory where he was initially a really funny comedian irl who absolutely shat on people in comedy clubs to mask his frustration at failing school among intellectual elites over there or something. Fuck. I don't know the actual backstories but c'mon. So much potential to re-invent the whole genre by focusing on actual psychological and human issues with excellent cinematography.
I'm hoping this does really well in the box office and starts a trend.

He is charismatic and tragically almost gets the UN to regulate fishing when he gets nearly murdered on the seas. He is rescued by some penguins and decides to do evil deeds to the polluters of Gotham and teams up with Poison Ivy.
