Last of the Mohicans

It's no contest right? This movie contains the most masculine finale of any movie ever.

more like last of the mehicans amirite?

Unironically one of my favorite movies

There's something very satisfying as watching the unstoppable killing machine villain getting his shit utterly kicked in. I wish more movies did it for their finales.

One of the best. I’ve been reading a journal of the costume designer who was working in the set and it’s fascinating stuff.

Kino. Historically accurate, good villain, story, characters with depth. They don't make them like that anymore.
Today a black guy would ally with the mohawk and btfo whitey

Magua wasn't a villain, he just wanted to defend his land against invaders.

yeah dude, the real villain was the grey hair hair all along

Link?

Like others have said, the only thing Magua did wrong was failing to remove the scourge.

I like this film because it shows so much. That you must repel foreign invaders, that it doesn't pay to be a cuck (Duncan) that women need to be kept in control otherwise they will racemix (Alice Munroe).

Very redpilled movie in general.

I've never watched it and I'm a boomer. Should I ?

Of course, how boomer of a boomer are we talking here?

>women need to be kept in control otherwise they will racemix (Alice Munroe).
Even back then I thought it was weird, and I was too young to be racist.

>little to no talking
>hand to hand combat
>muskets
>muskets wielded akimbo style
>useless female character jumps off cliff for no reason
>rocks and nature all around
>epic final duel between good guy and bad guy
yeah its pretty masculine

Same, everybody knows it's wrong instinctively, it's only with decades of zog brainwashing that some people start to accept it in adulthood, But kids will always be able to tell it's weird and wrong.

Have sex, incel, dilate

LotM is one of the few examples of the movie legit being better than the book. Mark Twain wrote a book review of LotM back in the day that just tore it to shreds, and it’s obvious that Michael Mann read it, because he fixed all the flaws Twain pointed out in it. The most important of these were that the Indians as Cooper portrayed them were too stupid to represent a legitimate threat (Mann made them smarter) and Magua was a generic ethnic villain with a dumb motivation (Mann fleshed him out, and Wes Studi was superb in the role). The result was a much more dramatically tense and believable film than the book made for.

And if course, Studi’s performance made that film. Little known fact: He’s actually a Vietnam combat veteran who saw some really bad shit over there, and that experience shows in intensity he brought to Magua.

All in all, a really great film. Between that and Heat, Mann has one hell of a 90s.

>>useless female character jumps off cliff for no reason
Yeah it was better for her to live the rest of her life as a sex slave of a psycho savage in the wilderness.

But the best part was literally the speech at the mountain top you literal action hero plebs...

You overdosed on /pol/ pills. Duncan in general was a sympathetic character.

she would have been fine.. she was just being a crazy irrational female. its in their nature

Duncan was literally a fag loser who foolishly sacrificed himself for traitor racemixing roasties. There was nothing noble in it.

This film is a cautionary tale, and you're missing the point.

Whilst I enjoy Heat the film is overly long and drags. Plus all the people jizzing themselves over two mediocre actors doing a film together. The plot, characters and most of all the fire and manouvre scenes are great though.

>otherwise they will racemix
Thought he was white and only adopted?

Yes, make sure you get the extended cut though.

He was a villain, and a worthy one.

>not Predator

Pure kino.

Nah, he sacrificed himself for higher ideals. A nigger won't understand this though.

Plebian tier.

You've fallen into a trap.

Higher ideals are worthless when your "sacrifice" is to preserve people who want to rebel against the order that created your high morality in the first place. It's not noble to suicide yourself for other unworthy people.

ah yes and you, of course, are the arbiter of worthiness, morality and order

Wrong again.
>LOL dude just let these roasties do whatever they want and racemix and destroy our culture and order. On top of that you should die so they can keep doing it even though they don't give a fuck about you.

It takes a genius intellect and immense morality to see how that is wrong. I am the only person capable of it, I've crowned myself arbiter. If you are such an idiot that you cant see that I guess it does make sense for you to look for a decision maker for your life.

Two white people
>racemixing

Dying to save a white women so she can go on to make white babies is noble, nigger.

idk because I don't remember it. it was forgettable for sure

>t. discord trannt.

Magua hated the white man but he couldn't put tribal differences aside either.

The soundtrack is fucking great too. Fort Battle and Massacre/Canoes are some of my favorites

Seven minutes without a word being said. The whole story being told through imagery. That, my dear friends is moviemaking. Not Tarkovsky, not Kubrick. But this. You can feel it, I'm literally a part of the movie everytime I watch this.Bravo!

the movie has aged worse than most 90s movies

it's The Wild Bunch you utter pleb

It could have been filmed yesterday you wouldn't know it, technical aspects are flawless.

>Magua was a generic ethnic villain with a dumb motivation
In the book Munro had him whipped for drunkeness, which was a real problem for Indians, both then and now. The movie plot of revenge for his family is a dumb conventional motivation.

this rock always bothered me

Basless opinion, discarded.
It's a masterpiece. Deserved of its recognition.

i liked when he dual wielded the muskets and shot two guys at the same time

Being so weak that rocks don't bounce out of your way for you like they do for this gigchad.

lol
