yes but Angel has characters that get better arcs. Spike and Wes have the best arcs in both shows. Faith and Cordelia also continue their arcs there

This must be a terrible bait or a very badly informed misconception but I'll bite. I'm someone who never liked Angel's character. However, I heard in season 5 they have an Old One character that was very intriguing. After finishing Buffy 7, I gave Angel a shot. It starts weak, but came to its own potential. Angel 4 is easily one of the best apocalyptic arcs in all of Buffyverse.
Angel is a lot more mature in tone than Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I still don't like Angel (the character) as much, but his ensemble was compelling, and the expansion to the Buffyverse is amazing. You can have a preference between the two, but full appreciation of the Buffyverse require an understanding of both especially since Buffy 7 and Angel 4 have great contrasting and parallel arcs.

Yes. Unlike modern crossovers like the cw super hero shows you can watch buffy without having to bounce back and forth between the separate series. But once you finish watching buffy, I would recommend watch angel. Don't watch the series at the same time. Watch buffy first, angel second.

I hate this. The Simpsons remaster that FX did a few years ago was good in terms of color and quality, but ruined by the retarded unnecessary ratio change. Some shots were stretched, while others were cropped and ruined visual gags (one example: in the Duff factory where we see three different varieties of Duff all coming out of the same pipe, the pipe is cropped out, totally eliminating the joke).

Angel's a pretty good show though. Season 1 and 2 are fun. Season 3 and 4 have real issues but a certain characters gets drastically better while the show itself gets worse.
Season 5 of Angel is straight up the best thing ever, and takes place after the final season of Buffy.
