I feel like it was sad that they turned the newer films into more pure action films. I also really hate judi dench as M because they dedicated so much run-time towards her character and made her so antagonistic towards him. When she was introduced she was labeled a political appointment and more of a penny counter. I hated how despite how often bond saved the world or was their best agent she saw him as some sexist caveman.

For me the showmanship and gimmickry are what separated the Bond movies from regular action flicks. I like Bond pulpier.

There is only two James Bond movies: Dr. No and Thunderball. Plebs will disagree. Moore turned it into a joke except for when he beat women, Daltry is a testament to the coked up state of mind of the eighties and Pierce was a victim of horrible CGI.
