Just saw this absolute piece of top tier kino

Just saw this absolute piece of top tier kino.
If you have any doubts that this film is anything but 10/10 Godzilla kino of the highest caliber, let this post serve as the catalyst to remove those doubts and fears, I say this as a life long Godzilla fan, Godzilla: King of the Monsters is one of the greatest Godzilla movies ever made, the greatest non-Japanese Godzilla movie ever made, and is easily the film of the year.
Go see this fucking movie, don't let it flop even harder than it already unfortunately is.

OP here again, wanted to say that this is the modern day equivalent to mythological epics about creatures and monsters battling for supremacy.

It was great, I dont know what happened to the bo. It's like people dont give a shit.

it's was really good.. lots of good visuals..

Bad movie, but a great Godzilla flick. Also a lifelong fan here and it really scratched that Godzilla itch for me.

honestly i don't get it. human parts were unbelievably bad. the acting "humour" and the editing are some of the worst.
they kept inserting some literal who characters every few seconds in battle. all the cool shots/scenes were in the trailer.
hope someone makes an edit which removes all humans after the bluray hits

the plot and characters were godawful, and there was STILL not enough King G vs G-unit fighting

what we did see was cool tho

Unironically the best actor in the film. Anyone else think she looks like a young Elizabeth Perkins?

Meh.
The writing was so bad. Im glad we had more monsters this time but still too much human trash screen time. The casting was totally used poorly.

Why was Charles Dance even in the movie with so few lines?
4/10 movie I enjoyed the monsters

6.3/10, not great not terrible

It was garbage holy shit

Did Yea Forums actually like it?

I straight up couldn't even tell you what the human plot was I was so zoned out for it (because it was major suck). The monster fighting was kickass though.

None of the characters motivations made any sense, and there were plot holes and logic gaps so big you could drive a fucking train through them. Which would have been fine if it wasn't the primary focus of the film, but unfortunately it was. What monster-on-monster action there was (while great) was few and far between.

Garbage movie. Like, absolute trash.

>human plot
It was the same as in part one: army moving across the globe, sometimes shooting at monsters with no real effect.
Also Monarch went full NERV in this one with giant planes and bases.

Yea, despite it's flaws it was fun.

It had so many fucking flaws

No monster had any fucking reason to be Ghidorahs bitch, the fucking alpha shit was retarded. Ghidorah lost in the stupidest way

Same with the other way around, none of them should have given a shit about Godzilla and been like fuck you

Whyt was there a MUTO among the kaijus that came to bow to the Chadzilla, weren't they like parasites?

I'd love to get a Godzilla movie that takes place during a longer time period, like in this movie if it took a long time (years) for Godzilla to heal and Ghidorah destroys most of the human civilization.

What was his tax policy?

Kek

8/10 up until Godzilla went kaioken then it was a 9/10
also the submarine in atlantis scene was beautiful

>mfw I realize "Ghidorah" is "Hydra" in Engrish

Where is my nigga Garret Edwards?

100% tax everyday

Check anime movie version

Godzilla lays over towards the camera, “does anyone have any orange slices?” The main character whispers to himself “we are now in the end game.”

>but still too much human trash screen time
The issue wasn't the screen time, it was the fact the story was hackneyed trash and didn't carry anything interesting with it.

I was pretty disappointed by it after I first watched it, but after sitting on it for a couple weeks and analyzing it more, my issues with it seem very minor. Now I genuinely think its a very good Godzilla movie, and is a lot smarter and thoughtful then people give it credit. its turning out to be the best pleb filter of the year

Why didn't they just let Godzilla eat Chernobyl?

Attached: 1559456871858.jpg (540x702, 145K)

I wish they'd changed the acoustics based communication to a radiation based communication, having everything happen simultanously around the world and making the monsters feel the noise was pretty dumb. radiation would've solved this somewhat.

OP,
3D or 2D?
Need to decide until tuesday

Always 2D man, unless it's Avatar.

The 3D effects were not that impressive. See it in 2D.

Why the fuck do people keep talking about the plot?
Every single person including the director knows it's filler to get to the meat and it was incredible.

Who's on team Rodan?
*ejects pilot seat*
