Was it good?
How did you avoid getting shot?
Hi ViewerAnon
DID HE SAY THE N WORD?
NIGGER
Are you more of a brief or a thong guy ?
fucking kek
is it finally a non-CGI heavy capeshit we have been waiting for since nolan's movies?
Yes. Not great. But good.
>Implying shooters are smart enough to get into a test screening.
No.
I don't recall much CGI. maybe a scene where Joker jams scissors into someone's eye. But yeah, it's very practical. He's not "Joker" and doing crazy shit till the 3rd act. It feels like a film that was completely unrelated to DC but it was similar enough they set it in Gotham but that's not a bad thing.
draw the beter scene in mspaint
so is he THE Joker? killing Wayne's parents and all?
or is someone who inspires the real Joker?
is that kid from the trailer Bruce Wayne?
how hard was it to tell your family that you’re gay?
does it show references of mention any other gotham characters besides bruces parents?
not them but one of the leaks says he basically encourages people to do it and then it happens off camera or something
Doesn't kill Bruce's parents, he causes an uprising after commiting murder on live TV that brings out a war between the rich and the poor. One of the men kills the waynes as it's happening and it's treated like just one of the many bad things going on at that point showing now the poor are in control and the rich are being disregarded. But there's nothing implying he's not the real Joker. He lives in the end.
does it ends with el guason killing bruce parents, justified by his stressfull life as a clown?
is veronica in the movie?
but the Joker doesn't kill the Waynes, that's just Burton's bullshit
Does he really rape young bruce wayne
Alfred
I never told them
No. He's not a pedo. He believes he's the son of Thomas Wayne and goes to Wayne Manor and tries to make a connection with Bruce and then Alfred yells him away.
sorry, not really into capeshit
neat, thanks
he is truly /ourguy/
I'm glad you said it doesn't feel like a super hero movie, but it's more "down to earth" and realistic
I was hoping you had experienced it becaause it’s killing me inside. thanks anyway gaybro
I'm sure one day you'll do it and it'll go well. Hang in there gaybro
Any meme potential ?
how was the falcon chow there
It's a legitimately good movie so not really. Maybe the people who are like "this is literally me"
What happens to Joker in the end? Goes to jail or still roaming free?
How was the cinematography? Such as good looking as in the trailer or worse? And what about Joaquin performance? Did he killed it?
Does he call for the rising of all gamers?
is it R? and i don't mean "gritty and dark" but blood, boobs and f-bombs.
Goes to Arkham. The smile he cuts on his face with glass in the previous scene is all stitched up and his head is shaved. His social worker there asks to see his journal he's supposed to keep up with and he says he has and she looks at it and it's blank and joker smiles and hears That's Life by Frank Sinatra in his head and dances to it and the credits roll.
Both are incredible. Joaquin blows any other performance in a comic movie of the last 5 years out of the water. Cinematography is great. Excited to see what Todd Phillips and Lawrence Sher do next.
Plenty of swearing. Zazie beetz rides on top of a dude naked. Some blood in the final act.
Kill yourself larper
Does he kills him mom? Or they doesn't show that?
He kills his mom. But you just see the hospital curtains and jokers feet shuffling around. It's implied he suffocates her with a pillow.
Does he quip
No. He wants to be a standup comedian but he's not funny at all. He just laughs a lot due to a condition that makes him uncontrollably laugh when he's nervous or sad or angry
What was the parts that you didnt like? And why?
The Bruce stuff is fine but it's not necessary. He's only in 2 scenes so he's only in maybe like 2 minutes max so it's not too bad.
How's the soundtrack?
The score is good. The music that plays in the film is good too (Smile, Bennie And The Jets, That's Life, Send In The Clowns, Apache)
And why did he do that? Because of some diary note about her boyfriend? What exactly all this situation about?
>War against the rich
>This is depicted as a bad thing
Why is Hollywood so right-wing?
>He's not "Joker" and doing crazy shit till the 3rd act
So what is he doing 2/3 of the film? Just stalks everyone and gets embarrassed?
>Why is Hollywood so right-wing?
I mean when you actually look at the messaging of pretty much every capeshit movie ever, it's always fundamentally about "right wing" and "conservative" principles. The bad guy is generally always pushing for "progressive" social change and radically altering the status quo, and the the good guy is always fighting to stop them.
Even with the "diversity" movies, they are always NOT about super "liberal" or "left wing" ideals. Captain Marvel is about government regulation and individualism. Black Panther is about rejecting the radical black activists and embracing a peaceful process where "wakanda" AKA BLACK PEOPLE just integrate into "the rest of the world" without making too much of a fuss about it.
What makes it just good? What prevents it from being "great" or pure kino
Wait what? I didn't even know this movie existed.
How were Zazies armpits
She's been lying to him his whole life and let her boyfriend sexually abuse him to pay for rent. She also says he's not funny.
Mostly getting beat up/made fun of. He does shoot 3 wall street guys early in the film and detectives suspect it's him and visit him from now and then in the film.
I'll have to see it twice. It's very slow. It could very well be kino. It'll be divisive for people.
heh heh
Is there anything thats gonna trigger the lefties?
The scene where she's nude they appear to be shaved.
Because warring against people solely because they are rich is a bad thing you moron
>It'll be divisive for people
Whats exactly makes it divisive?
He's a straight white guy who calls Zazie a whore for having a boyfriend. He also basically wins in the end and dances in arkham as the credits roll.
Good for DC standards is great though
It's the most uncomic comic book movie ever. Its very bleak. Just a series of bad things happening.
Fuck
Are Gordon and Harvey Bollock in the movie?
>Bad Thing(tm)
Lmao
Nope
Can you explaine the scene in the trailer, where they are in a cafe and she laughs? I thought that they aren't friends and they are barely talks to each other, and its mostly him being delusional about their relationship. So what did they do there?
Is commit a falseflag by pretending Iran would attack a Japanese oil tanker while the Japanese PM is in the country a bad thing?
Even immoralists still believe in consequences
No.
She likes his mother and treats him well, you could say that they're friends.
He falls hopelessly in love when she pity-laughs at one of his shitty jokes.
It's after he invites her to see his standup, she laughs when she talks about getting fired and asks Arthur if he's ever been fired and wanted to torch the place and he answers "every time" to both 2.
Why are you doing this?
Best kill of the movie?
If anyone wants to know about the film?
He jams scissors in the eye of the dude who got him fired and slams his head against the wall plenty of times.
How hard would it be to incorporate this into the new Batman movie with Robert Pattinson continuity?
Is anything so over the top it disqualifies it, like Joker nailing Batman's mom or something?
>Yes. Not great. But good.
If battinson took place in the 80s or 90s it could work. He doesnt kill the Wayne's, one of the people in the riot he inspired does.
Is this the peak of Joaquins acting? Was he better in the Master or Walk the line tho?
Is it set in a society?
Hard to say, haven't seen them in a while. But he is very good. The movie would be far weaker if he wasn't in it.
Is Benny & the jets playing in the stairs scene?
>She also says he's not funny
Why is he dancing with her and acting so kind and good with her if she's such a bitch? Wtf?
She's asleep and joker takes her to her bed but she wakes up and she's in a calm state. It's almost like she's bipolar.
Funny because Zazie means penis in Korean
shouldn't you be asleep already Pong Chong Gonk?
Yes
What's Brian Tyree Henry's role?
where do I remember this specific shot from ? can't put my finger on it
How do you get test screening invites? I was lucky enough to be working a booth at a con and another production company gave me tickets to see Blair Witch about a month before it came out but other than that I have no clue who to talk to/where to apply.
He's in 1 scene. Joker fights him for files that detail his actual background instead of the shit his mom tells him. It's kind of like tug a war but once joker gets the files he just let's him go, Joker runs away as if he's being chased by guards.
>He's in 1 scene
Why Todd Phillips is so retarded?? Why waste such good actor for only one scene??
It's neat cause they all shine in their scenes. De Niro is only in like 2 scenes and he's great. They're all little pieces in Arthurs life that are slowly driving him off the deep end.
Can you describe Marc Maron and De Niro's scenes?
Maron Works on de niros show. De niro invites Arthur onto the show to make fun of him but maron is trying to tell him to not do the bit cause Arthur is in clown makeup and it'd be in poor taste due to the murders by all the people in the clown masks lately. De Niro says no cause he thinks it's edgy and bold comedy, Maron still keeps telling him to cut the bit. De Niro interviews Arthur who says real things that happened to him and the audience and de Niro think he's just being edgy and tells him they don't do jokes like that on the show. It gets to where Arthur admits he killed the 3 wallstreet dudes and De Niro begins to take it seriously and stops making fun of him and asks him legitimate questions but by the time de niro realizes this is actually a really serious situation Arthur shoots him in the head.
How well received do you reckon the movie do?
Audience score higher than critics.
Any other characters from the comics besides the Waynes?
how long was it? What would you rate it?
What would happen if Hollywood was exposed to an ACTUAL liberal that wanted to go as far as reforming the traditional societal power structure?
is he a sympathetic bad guy like they did to Venom?
Is it Alfred from BVS?
Does this hint any other heroes/villains? Or is it set in a totally grounded universe where those don't exist?
the jokester
Nah, other way around.
Alfred
Maybe 2 hours. 7.5/10 maybe an 8 if I see it again
You feel bad for him when he's Arthur. When he's Joker he does some horrible shit.
No. Douglas Hodge plays him.
Nope. Only Joker.
>He's not "Joker" and doing crazy shit till the 3rd act
What kind of crazy shit DOES he do when he goes full Joker?
Are there any references to meme culture that will date the movie by the time it comes out?
Is it an Oscar worthy performance?
Jams scissors in someone's eye, bangs their head on a wall repeatedly. Starts a riot that gets someone shot in the process and starts another after killing someone on a late night talk show which gets the Wayne's shot, banks his head on the steel window of a police car causing it to crash into another car and then gets out and carves a smile on his face with the glass using the broken window shards.
Wow, it's almost as if the studio people who greenlight scripts and produce major features are rich people, who are scared of not being able to further centralise wealth and power, themselves. Who'd have thought it?
No. It takes place in 1981.
If I was in charge: yes.
How long does it take him to realize he's living in a society? This is very important.
Once his social worker tells him Gotham is shutting down all their mental health services besides Arkham and that the rich don't care about the mentally ill. He doesn't care about not seeing her again but he cares that he won't have meds anymore.
I am legit trying to understand what the point of Joker inciting a crime wave that kills the Waynes is. Why include them or tie Batman's origin in at all?
does he really "feel" like the joker?
He doesn't feel like any other movie joker. He says jokes that objectively aren't funny at all and laughs a lot.
Fucking perfect.
That's essentially comic book Joker. He says disturbing shit that only he finds funny.
what about comics joker? does he feel like the character by the end of it?
Not OP, but I guess it kind of shows you the consequences of his seemingly “altruistic” actions, that no matter how much you pity him his actions got a little boy covered in his parent’s brains
It's a one and done film. It was probably put it so Batman retards didn't hate the film just for the fact Batman wasn't in it in some way. It doesn't take up too much time.
With the costume and him laughing a lot I'd say so.
Captain marvel was about a racist empire genociding innocent space muslims, dude
That movie was not based or redbulled
Like all capitalists, they would quake in fear
But it's kind of loaded that it's Batman and not some random little kid. Any way you spin it this movie ends with Joker creating Batman and it doesn't seem to examine it at all.
How sad did it make you feel for Arthur? Whatever evil things he does aside. And does he hate eveyone/the world or is it just the rich?
they are space muslims retard. Ronan the Accuser is the most space muslim character in the MCU
I mean I don’t think it needs to examine the effects on Bruce, he had 3 movies doing that. If it’s just there to show how evil Joker’s become then I’m all for it
But then it should have been just any random kid.
How sad did it make you feel for Arthur? Whatever evil things he does aside. And does he hate eveyone/the world or is it just the rich?
He's written like a very realistic mentally ill person, he's almost childlike in a way. he really tries his best to be a good person, but everyone and everything beats him down.
fucking attention whore kill yourself
Assuming you’re not trolling, do you actually get to see him cutting his face? Or is it just off-screen?
First one wasn’t linked to OP, didn’t think he’d bother to check
Nah, he’s a cracker ass cracker tryna keep the green man down
I just saw the new trailer when I was in the theater earlier, shit looks a lot darker than I anticipated
You see him cutting his face. It's this scene.
Sweet
why does he crash against cars all the time?
answer my question you cuck
is the movie pg13?
Nope. It's definitely R.
it's sounding like kino
Is it rated R? Any violence?
Anything about it that will make journalists and sjws mad?
Joker is well liked though, it's the "crazy guy but has a point" trope
Hoes mad
Yes it's R. Most of the violence is at the end. Gun murders and stabbing.
Does it end with potential for a sequel?
BaSeD
Real talk : does he have a NES, Sega Master System, Atari , or does he Game on a PC??
how many people yelled "BASED" when Joker shot Deniro's character?
Yeah cause he lives in the end. But I doubt it'll happen.
No. He has a journal with drawings, jokes and hardcore porn pasted onto it.
You mentioned his journal was blank at the end. What’s that supposed to mean?
It's a reference to the beginning of the film where his social worker wanted to see his journal she gave him where he was supposed to detail how he feels and stuff like that, he used it for jokes and drawings and other unrelated things. At the end where another social worker at Arkham asks to see his journal he still isn't keeping up with it like he's supposed to.
Did the film feel epic scale or small scale?
Very small scale. Gets a bit bigger toward the end but never to anywhere like a marvel movie.
It's confirmed to take place in the 90's i think.
OP you’re pretty cool
Thank you, kind sir.
You're making all this up, amirite?
>Black Panther is about rejecting the radical black activists and embracing a peaceful process where "wakanda" AKA BLACK PEOPLE just integrate into "the rest of the world" without making too much of a fuss about it.
jesus christ. this is so fucking crazy that its not even worth asking what movie did you actually see thinking it was black panther, and moving right onto asking if you know what a movie is, or what the letters m, o, v, i, e even stand for
I have the script. It's 100% legitimate.
>zero argument
I think OPs actually genuine guys, none of the other threads ever used this screencap, always the same two.
And yeah, it’s based that he’s bothering to answer questions about it. It’s not out for months
They're attacking incels with this film. Psyop 101.
Does the film expose the roastie menace and the degeneracy of the lumpenproletariat and their immigrant cohort?
>he really tries his best to be a good person
>Jams scissors in someone's eye because he gets fired
Wtf? Is he even trying?
What are some of his bad jokes when he’s doing stand up?
Is it bad or good thing?
I meant pre joker he is. 3rd act he goes nuts.
why is it "dodging the subject" instead of "feigning ignorance". its not like hes dodging the subject of the journal, hes directly addressing it essentially, by asking for clarification.
like, how is asking that in any way going to get an answer not resulting in "the journal".
"i just hope my death makes more sense than my life"
"Knock knock. Who's there? It's the police ma'am, your son was hit by a drunk driver. He's dead" and the stuff you see written on his notebook in the trailer. His actual stand up he just laughs a lot and makes a fool out of himself, he also opens his arms like he's a big shot and says "look who's laughing now" when taking about how everyone said he wouldn't be a standup comedian and the audience is completely quiet.
Good.
Test screening you say? What did the nda's entail?
The majority of people who work in Hollywood are morons
The script is written like that the whole way through. I guess it's how Todd writes. It's a very simple read.
How did u get in a test screening for a movie that hasn't even finished filming?
In the trailer he seems like a poorfag autist, but we all the joker as a gangster with goons and lots of money
It has finished filming. The last day of filming was him dancing on the staircase. Also twitter.com
>and the audience is completely quiet
Now im really feel sorry for him, this is a nightmaire
but thats not simple. its wrong. how does one dodge the subject by asking a question, that the answer is literally, the subject.
The dude wrote the hangover films do you think he knows better?
NIGHTMAIRE!!! Strange that he didnt commit suicide after that
Asking the real question
What's the context of him saying "I used to think my life was a tragedy"
Says it before he's about to kill his mom in the hospital
>mentally ill introverted autist
>trying stand up comedy
Why??? Why cant he just find a normal job where he should not interact with people??
You don’t know what they were talking about beforehand. Maybe the entire conversation was centred around him keeping track of his thoughts in the journal.
In that sense, if he were trying to hide something in his journal (like the porn OP says is in it), he would deliberately be avoiding the question
How much Joker runs in movie?
He couldn't get any other job besides being a clown and he got fired from that. He just wanted to make people happy.
Looks like more violent version of King of the Comedy
How does Joaquin rank among the Joker depictions? Better than Ledger or Nicholson?
I don't think there will be any shootings as the Joker is an occupy wall street kind of character that panders mainly to left leaning individuals.
ahaha. Is there anything adressing this amount of running? Kinda silly
that dosent make any sense. if he was trying to hide it, then he would still be feigning ignorance with that answer. feigning ignorance would be buying time, but not dodging the subect, since again, the only answer that can be expected is "the journal"
Does he really try to shoot himself after killing of the subway guys? Also why these guys started to bully him? Just because he was dressed like a clown? Seems a little bit unrealistic
That's just the amount of the word being used. He still runs quite a bit. Maybe around 7 times if I had to guess not looking at the script.
I heard it was because he tried to stop them from harassing a woman, they beat him up, he Jokers out and kills them
You can get bullied for a lot more normal things in real life. like making awkward eye contact
Yes, he talks and writes a lot bout his death. As for the subway guys they're drunk, at first they're trying to harass a woman on the bus but then they're distracted cause joker starts laughing due to being nervous and then they think he's laughing at them. It's then implied that the woman ratted out what the shooter looked like and that's why the detectives question Arthur throughout the film.
What was the most cool/memorable/iconic scene?
Scene where he "becomes" Joker, staircase dance, ending dance and the late night talk show scene. It all comes together in the 3rd act.
Oh yeah there's a shower scene with the joker that shows full his penis
does it put the MCU on suicide watch?
Nope. That was made up. That came from resetera didn't it?
No cause people who love the mcu to a passion probably will avoid it and call it boring.
any other cameos other than wayne?
I haven't decided if I want to go out to see this yet. What's the busiest night at cinemas and would I be likely to find obnoxious jocks and their entitled whore girlfriends?
why even pretend? all those places have a no singles policy
CLOWN WORLD
If your ever going to the cinema, go a week and a half after release. Literally never anyone there.
Yeah but they would probably talk throughout the whole movie.
I'll buy two then with a poker face.
I spent enough time alone.
Not the whole movie.
imagine being so socially awkward, that even on an imageboard like tv you dont realize the intention here was to know what days to avoid
Alfred.
god how embarrassing. whens the last time you even went, back in high school when you had friends? you cant do that without your party being present, or people would just straw purchase tickets for underage people
no cobble pots or selina kyles?
hey, that's a good joke
you can collect tickets from online purchase at a machine. be there when I'm there. I'll educate you
How is the movie started?
Nope
>ill buy them online
>with a straight face
>because i totally didnt mean in person
wew lad
could describe how the film starts
you have to collect them in person at the machine. i hope you and your whore girlfriend are at my showing
In the social workers office. At the end of that scene it cuts to the title.
they call him Joker in the movie?
how was the soundtrack?
So it really is antisemitic?
you wouldnt shoot up a theatre, your not even half the incel you wish you were.
that reminds me, i need to make a virgin vs chad image, but its the virgin vs "the virgin"
Which scene does it play 'Send In The Clowns" ?
who said anything about shooting up a theatre, you're an idiot
zazie bets appears naked?
>banks his head on the steel window of a police car
Does anything happen to his love interest?
Send in the clowns is sung by Frank Sinatra?
Women....
What are the negative points of the movie for you?
Ah bloo bloo
The joker has his makeup on Arkham?
Implying there will be ANY escape when gamers rise up.
No. De Niro calls him a Joker on TV and when he invites him on the show Joker demands he be called that cause he took it to heart, De Niro doesn't even remember saying it.
When he kills the subway guys.
Yes
Sorry. Meant bangs.
Arthur calls her a whore.
The 2 scenes with bruce are a bit shoehorned in.
No. His head his shaved and he's in white clothes. But he does have a stitched up smile.
Objectively, was she a whore?
im da joker baybee
Batman is a right-wing story. All except for Batman's rule against killing, which is arguable.
this film trigger the incels or does it trigger the normies?
No. Joker sneaks into her house and sees her fucking her boyfriend and goes nuts. Zazie sees this, screams and her boyfriend chases Arthur but eventually he's outran.
>steel window
>But he does have a stitched up smile.
again with this bullshit?
yikes
It'll trigger normies more I'd say.
Is soundtrack really written by that girl who wrote Chernobyl soundtrack or it was just rumors?
He doesn't kill her?
No. He leaves her a letter to watch late night TV that night so she can see him commit a murder.
Never seen that. If her name was hildur something then yes.
Normies are going to hate it, huh?
Hildur Guðnadóttir, yea. How was it?
It was good.
Alright dudes. I'm gonna get going now. Thanks for the questions. You'll see I'm right on October 4th. Have a great day.
underrated boast
Thanks, you are great
thanks kino man
>clowncels
almost by definition bad guys will be "progressive", with some clever shows able to subvert this (One Piece)
Does it earn its R-rating?
>clowncels
I fucking choked when I read this, fucking kek
what's Bryan callens role in the film?
all rich people deserve death
remember me!
joker cuck
Is it gonna be a hard R?
Apache by sugarhill gang? Wtf?? What scene is that?
According to the script it's playing on speakers when zazie is riding on her boyfriend.
