and that's a good thing

lol white man with southern drawl is racist. Want to see a racist ? Look in the mirror.

He has a history of being a Southern sympathizer. It writes itself. I think he does a decent job of being unbiased in the documentary though.

He's not quite at the real redpill that Southerners should have never brought blacks to the United States.

>>you can just tell this dude is racist as fuck
You say that like racism is bad.

DESPITE

OP BTFO like Kevin Nash in the Summer of '92 when he took that fateful shortcut through that alley.

BEING

It is. If it weren’t for it, we would have kino film about Chief Joseph taking on the United States to fight for his land and winning multiple times before finally resigning.

We got this kino song, and you know deep in your heart Netflix or Hollywood would fuck it up.

Reminder that racism is extremely based, and only cuck basedbois are against it

its only wrong when whites do it , everybody else is still proud of their racism.

this, goes to show how much of a pussy OP
globohomos made it not trendy anymore to shit on niggers and chinks, so cool anti-racist activist immediately start being racist towards whites, especially southeners
spineless cunts

He’s actually a member of the tribe. So I doubt he’s racist, if he defends he South it’s most likely because his ancestors were behind the slave trade and he is defending their legacy.

>>watching the civil war
Marvels done it again

powerful

And everyone else shits on the South even though there's a lot of good to be said about the Confederate army. I think the brilliance of the Southern military is way too often ignored in the United States. Also, the slavery aspect is focused on way too much even though emancipation didn't come into play until much later

The Indian victories over the colonists/americans are so underrated it's ridiculous. At least in the public consciousness

Eh. Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson are incredibly respected to this day and glorified (and for good reason, Lee was brilliant and was the only true chance they had of being recognized). Lee’s strategies are still studied to this day. Jefferson Davis is vilified and deservedly so, in my opinion.

It is a great story but maybe a little too sad. I don’t think most Americans want to accept the consequences of their past. The Nez Perce were their allies and they betrayed them. “I will fight no more forever” has to be one of the most badass quotes of all time.

Shelby Foote is an interesting character. He set out to spend a year writing a popular-market trade paperback about the civil war and ended up consuming his entire life producing the definitive multi-volume million-word history of the conflict. And absent Burns, no one would have heard of him.
