Was this scene peek Thrones?

Have to wonder if they planned on having the Lannisters be played by the best actors the show had to offer.

Correct backlink

NO HE NEVER CARED ABOUT THOSE PEOPLE LOL

Got season 8 is fucking fyre festival tier

what's wrong boy?
feeling a little... subverted?

>he gets in the bath and she starts shouting about how theres another one he could use
>then she just curls up in the corner whole Jaime lays down great dialogue
> then we get to see her GREAT ass

Best scene IMO

I expected it to be just bad, not an insult

Why didn’t they show his dream, it could’ve been amazing in a visual format. Jaime’s fevre dream is a top five passage out of the entire series

AND HARRENHAL!?

But I'm bi.

How will they kill the dragons in the book?

Krakens and bait ships.

Euron summons a kraken that will drown one of them. The dragon horn will get another one.

A kraken would job hard against a dragon

aim to the wings, tail, eyes
they are relatively easy to kill honestly, as long as you got some reckless infantry and a brain

daily reminder

wtf would that do?

the horn bullshit will end up like the horn that should have blown the wall, a fucking meme

break their flying balance and ability to manouver in the sky
a bad crash would kill the dragon with some luck, if not you can still attack him from all direction with arrows until you hit the eyes
think Dorne got one with a poisoned dart in the eye during Aegon's conquer

What is cute may never die

Attached: 54.png (1080x810, 1012K)

How big are Dany's dragons, obviously Rhaegal and Viserion are stunted compared to Drogon due to being chained up, but is the show accurate in terms of sizes, or accelerated for spectacle?

It'll be interesting because the way the books explain dragons make them seem like straight up bullshit power levels, where in the show they seem fairly vulnerable as long as they dont suddenly become impossible to hit.

Only way to kill a Dragon is shooting into their eyes, the show is retarded

This scene always looked like CGI to me

They don't really use their tails for balance.
Dorne got a lucky kill on Meraxes, the scorpion bolt pierced its eye into its brain. Even then GRRM said it was luck and a one in a million shot.

Wrong 12 year old bro

Dany realised her dragons were vulnerable all the way back in 5x09, why did she never have armour crafted for them?

show aside, those are all true weak points of a flying creature
no matter how strong its scales are, its membranous wings are weak and once ripped apart the dragon can't fly anymore
sure, but if you force it on land the one in a million shot becomes one in a thousand
the tail is important for the balance of every creature that has it

I expected Drogon to appear in armor in 8x05

>the tail is important for the balance of every creature that has it
Not always, Tails have other functions, like storing fat or distracting predators. Besides dragons are magical creatures. The tail does not particularly aid in flight from what we have seen.

>preview shows Euron looking up and a sudden look of shock on his face as we hear Drogon
>assume its because Drogon has god damn dragon armor now
>no its because the glare of the sun made him not be able to see Drogon and apparently forget Dany has a dragon

>why did she never have armour crafted for them?
CGI would get too expensive

>Euron looking up and a sudden look of shock on his face as we hear Drogon
>>assume its because Drogon has god damn dragon armor now
That would have been so cool, lads.

by the right of THIS DICK

it's pretty obvious from its shape that it has a role in making turns while flying, also it's probably about 1/3 of his own weight, it's surely has the necessary strength for the task

Attached: drogon.jpg (999x999, 714K)

Dragon armor would be cool
Jon getting mad and accepting Dany's offer would be cool
Jon killing Dany and commiting seppuku/going into a last stand against all Unsullied+Dothraki+Dragon and dying would be cool

I'm not sure I remember correctly, but I think at some point in the books it's stated that their scales get thicker as they grow older. So Danys dragons should be much easier to kill than Aegons were.

Some of the dragons in the Dragonpit die because the roof collapses on them. Dragon armor is really strong but they're not invincible. No way in hell should Euron be sniping them out of the sky though, unless Qyburn suddenly developed cannons.

Not really, it probably has that shape so it's aerodynamic. Dragons turn around using their wings like a bat does. If the tail was actually used for making turns it would be similar to a bird's.

Not really.

how would a kraken kill a dragon?

Drown it.
Dragons aren't optimal in the sea.

why would a dragon be stupid enough to get that close to the sea? reminder some maesters say they're smarter than men

Maybe if kraken would grab the ship with Daeneris onboard and dragon tried saving her by getting close.

if you think damaging its tail wouldnt inficiate its ability to fly you are naive, but believe what you want
bats dont have tails like that
they probably took some ideas from dinos

Attached: Rhamphorhynchus_munsteri.jpg (1920x1072, 359K)

I'm not saying it wouldn't but it probably wouldn't be enough to ground it.

Her ass is indeed choice user

>reminder some maesters say they're smarter than men
And those same maester's couldn't tell the difference between a female and male dragon.
A dragon might just be flying a bit above sea level, unsuspecting, and the BAM, grapped by kraken tentacles.

lannister tummy is best tummy

Attached: 00E3D44B-DF8D-4C6A-918E-8126C6E1D6BF.jpg (750x908, 72K)

aren't dragons hermaphrodites?

Book dragons have scale tough enough to resist ballista bolts. Everywhere but the eye and open mouth is pretty much invulnerable. Potentially could make it land if you shot enough arrows through its wings.

Attached: 1560555005645.jpg (984x541, 233K)

How would a dragon kill a kraken?

Burn it
Grasp it with its claws and carry it inland
Bite between its eyes

>burn a beast that lives in water
>carry something that fucking big
>a krakens eyes would be under water
Did show Tyrion come up with these ideas?

Why didn't he tell anyone though?

fry him the moment he gets out of water, i doubt it has the eyesight necessary to get the timing to tentacle ambush a flying target, while a dragon has the eyesight to spot a target swimming below sea surface
or when it attacks a boat, dragon on standby goes down and burns it

>rape him
>murder him
>kill his children

Because he knew no one would believe him and it would seem like he's just making excuses.

I cannot WAIT until he SMASHES that blackfyre twink and his shithead scaley hand and utterly BTFOS Varys hopes and dreams without even noticing

Tell everyone about hidden wildfire?

...

>burn a beast that lives in water
Of course it would do it when it surfaces
>carry something that fucking big
Dragons are way larger than krakens. Eagles can carry prey bigger than themselves
>a krakens eyes would be under water
Biting between the eyes is how you kill octopi IRL idk

Who would have believed him? Ned already painted him an honorless knight and it looks extremely suspicious since he killed him while Tywin was sacking the city.
He felt it best they just stayed hidden and forgotten about, its why he killed the pyromancers so nobody but him was left alive to know about them.

wildfire storages are wildfire storages, it's not about "believing"
also he didnt kill the whole pyromance order, so that was also pointless (since they were producing more for cersei later on)

At first I'd suggest to tell Ned about wildfire. But okay, Ned already too stubborn, forget about him. What about other lords? Tell them. Then throw wildfire out of the city and tell the people that Jaimi was a good guy all along.

General distrust I guess? Maybe he just felt it was best if nobody but him knew where all the random wildfire caches were.

dragons aren’t real
have sex

Attached: 6D95AE86-3067-4C90-9E7D-1D1E9314ED79.jpg (505x409, 82K)

acceptable, but you would need to kill all the pyromancers in a way or another, not necessary all that day, but if he was scared of the danger of wildfire he should have disposed of them
no matter how you look at it he either was retarded or half assed his job

The ones he killed were the ones who knew about the caches placed all over the city, so the only people to know where Jaime, Aerys, and his most trusted pyromancers who were in the room with him. The other pyromancers obviously knew about making wildfire but seemed to be in the dark about Aerys plan and where all the caches were hidden.

They’d still all think he did for his dad.

my point is that the recipe of wildfire is still alive, so they could simply produce more and set up another disaster
if you want to get rid of nuclear danger you can't just dispose the bombs, also gotta kill off who can make more

At least they'd know he did it not out of cowardice but to protect the city and the people from burning alive. Even if it also was for his father.

Its not like the pyromancers were just gonna go nuts and start bombing the city after Robert took over.
Jaime simply believed it was best if the secret of their existence stayed hidden and he was proven right since it stayed that way until his siblings started tapping into it.

>to protect the city and the people from burning alive
he did it to protect his own ass, saving the city was incidental

It's funny how this meme of subverting expectations has been passed around so freely, even by the subverters themselves, when the clear implication is that by SUBverting you've gone below or beneath someone's expectations.

It's just a dressed up way of saying "I made a thing worse than you were expecting it to be based on past experience and that surprised you."

>Who would have believed him?
His sister is the queen. At the very least she can order a few men to investigate.
>turns out there are jars wildfire under every major building in the city
>wow Jaime was right all along, guess we can all stop being upset about him killing the Mad King now

>dragon flying low
>grabbed by kraken tentacles

Attached: Captain Westeros.png (500x822, 232K)

no one was really upset at him tho, just mocking him and generically not trusting him

Would you rather have a dire wolf, a dragon or a kraken?
Also The Wall or Five Forts?

Possibly. We simply don't know, and neither do the maesters.

dragon
five forts

I refused to believe most of those points. Especially the Clegane bros one.
I mean why the fuck did they even bring the Hound back to life after Brienne if he's just gonna go out like that?
ohyeahtheyrushedtheshitoutofitandprobablyneverreallycaredbeyondthepaycheckinthefirstplacefuckthisshitingfuckingwhoreniggersniggersniggersniggers

Honorable Ned Stark would probably still give him shit if he knew Aerys wanted to burn Kings Landing

Attached: 1560272767025.jpg (1058x578, 36K)

The only time a kraken is mentioned is in the small council when Varys says one was spotted fighting a leviathan.

rightfully so, oaths don't mention exceptions

Or just not believe him... I wouldn't trust the side-swapping Kingslayer fuck Sir Jaime

Ned wouldn't give a fuck, Jaime broke his oath and thats all that mattered to him. The show makes it a point of showing Ned being honor obsessed was retarded.

>we never got a kraken in the show
Not fair bros.

RIGHTFUL THREAD

RIGHTFUL THREAD

RIGHTFUL THREAD

MADE, POSTED AND LINKED IN THE PREVIOUS THREAD, Do not split /got/ in two you fucking retards, that's how we get banned.

How big are krakens in the GOT universe?

Ned is hypocrite though. He is also a liar

it does seem unreasonable that jaime couldn’t convince ned, especially since we hear him tell brienne about it in season 4 when the show still had actual dialogue. it’s like we’re meant to assume that his entire explanation of why he killed the king of the seven kingdoms as a sworn member of the kingsguard was one sentence. we see him interact with ned in season 1 as well, which is also brief, but i can accept that because of cersei being a cunt riding back to kings landing.

but when it happened? it makes NO sense. doesn’t he say there was a hundred men in the room when he did it? couldn’t he have asked some of them to explain what had happened? did they all remain completely silent? did ned not think to ask any of them?

Ramsay also tells Theon krakens are strong in the sea, but collapse under their own weight in land as a way to coax him to take Moat Caitlin

There's also some Dornish chapters that mention Krakens are swarming off the coast and downing damaged ships, and more disturbingly, they mention an Ibbinese Whaling ship, the toughest in the world, was brought down by a Kraken
Direwolf and Five Forts so I can get a Yi-Tish QT

A knight also swears an oath to protect the innocent.

>incorporating a banned waifu general into the title
nah pretty sure that's how you get banned

vocaroo.com/i/s1AcGp43te66

How the fuck would anyone know this?

Krakens are really fucking good for projecting naval power, though.
I would take a kraken over a direwolf any day of the week.

he only needed to kill the pyromancer for that
but honestly, he could have simply disabled all of them and took them prisoners, none of them had relevant fighting skills

I dunno, maybe some wash up on shore like real life whales but unlike real life Colossal Squid

Because krakens are essentially just really big squids.

It's been alive since 9:00. Making multiple separate /got/ threads because we're pissed at the OP is how we started getting shit pruned, policed then banned back when that bradamante faggot used to make them early as fuck and someone would make another to tell him fuck off. It's only ever okay if the other thread doesn't have the same subject, but both in this case are supposed to be /got/ general. At least that one was actually linked last thread, this one was just made and posted in the other thread

>live in the sea, great handicap
Yeah unless you want to destroy your enemy's fleet or blockade a port, krakens are completely useless. They can't run around and bite people one at a time like direwolves can.

Krakens do exist in ASOIAF

Dragon
Five Forts

Krakens apparently exist in the world of ASOIAF. They're just believed to be mostly extinct around Westeros, just like a lot of other "magical" animals (direwolves, unicorns, lions, dragons, etc.).

>tfw no fantasy setting gets krakens right

Almost half way through s4 when does it get bad? I've literally never rewatched this show before and with s8 still firmly burned into my memory I'm not looking forward to s6-7

Tyrion kinda forgot about reason and logic

you are reaching the downhill fall right now

It's already gotten bad. You had your first major taste of it when Robb decided to fuck some Volantene nurse cause she's hot and quips. You'll have really reached the shit when a shirtless Ramsay defends against several ironborn

It gets bad in s4e10 when they drop the Tysha story.

Why Danes such smug assholes, fucking hell

What did he mean by this?

Attached: tyrion.jpg (1524x3424, 711K)

>The kraken is a legendary cephalopod-like sea monster in Scandinavian folklore of giant size. According to the Norse sagas, the kraken dwells off the coasts of Norway and Greenland and terrorizes nearby sailors. Authors over the years have postulated that the legend may have originated from sightings of giant squids that may grow to 13–15 meters (40–50 feet) in length

Yep, user is just retarded.

There's 3 tiers I'd say. 1-4, 5-7 and 8. It's important to remember 8 was so terrible as a direct consequence of the prior season's set-up (and it's inexplicably tiny 6 episode span), but even in a vacuum it was well and truly on another level of awful. Normies will claim it was episode 4 onwards where it really got bad, but imo the Long Night was the absolute pinnacle of show trash.

There's still some good scenes
I remember it really hitting the wall literally after oberyn dies and the wildlings VS the wall knights watch
Oh yeah I just saw that but even my mum was like why is he covered in blood and thinking back why did he just have blood squirted onto himself? Looked extra fucking dumb especially the stupid key letting the dogs out off camera and muh reek
The fuck was that
S5-7 really is a blur I honestly don't remember apart from cia getting sansad

Season 4 is the final okay season. Once a major character dies and that character's killer leaves Westeros, the show will never be the same. There are awesome moments after season 4, but overall it's pretty bad.
6 > 5 > 7 > 8

IT'S UP

I could drone on about s8 for infinity but what spesifiically was bad about s5-7 I honestly don't remember despite watching them with Yea Forums at the time and I've been watching this show since s1 first aired

>histrionic personality disorder
>cute

Reminds me of Charlie manson on the stand in court, bitch is nuts

So it's obvious Bran is only gonna be a good king because Bloodraven is at the helm right?

Bloodraven helped run the kingdoms as Hand of the King to two kings so you know he has lots of experience. And since he spent years stuck in that tree he's probably had time to look into the past of every single king already to see their states of mind and learn from their wisdom so he doesn't have to just ape or copy them exactly like Bran would considering how young and inexperienced he is. So Bran or the hivemind will defer to Bloodraven's POV on what to do for every decision since he's the best candidate for it.

"Bran" is chosen by the Lords of the Six Kingdoms to lead them, Bloodraven is chosen by the hundreds or thousands of previous greenseers to lead their new kingdom. Pottery

So s5-7 is get out my phone and shitpost on here while mentally blocking out all the retarded scenes? Tier
Tywin lanister rip my real nigger Charles damce

Watching season 7 live with /got/ I had to regularly make the stream screen as tiny as possible and often just mute it and minimise the tab, there was so much fucking cringe.
To this day I have still not watched a single Winterfell scene from season 7 in its entirety.

They literally are giant squids though. This is like complaining that direwolves are just really big wolves.

why the fuck did the other bread get deleted

Why did Dany and Bran talk about the Master of War like it's a cabinet position on the small council when it was created by Cersei like a few years ago to sack Kevan?

coping mechanism

you can tell a lot by the fact that 90% of the "most memorable" GoT scenes are from the first 4 seasons.

mods = gods

The Dragon Demands has been doing alot of very extensive stuff about David Benifoff. Wonder if David realizes he's being exposed for the fraud he is.

So s7 is complete shit then is s6 OK? Last decent scene I remember is batrle of the bastards from whatever season that's from
That's the bits where salsa stork smarty ded balish boi right? I remember moaning and shitposting hard on here while sort of watching it
I disagree most of the most memorable shit was all terrible crap from the last 4 seasons memed into oblivion like the sjwars prequels and sequels

This or either Theon beheading Rodrick or Theon showing the dead farm boys. The music in those scenes along with Alfie’s acting is done incredibly well.

>So s7 is complete shit then is s6 OK?

Season 6 is shit for not having Stannis survive. This is an undisputed fact.

>That's the bits where salsa stork smarty ded balish boi right?
yeah it was of dabid's finest

>but what spesifiically was bad about s5-7
The entire Dorne storyline and everyone involved
The entire Sansa in the North storyline and everyone involve
Sansa/Arya/Littlefinger "scheming"
Euron's magic teleporting fleet
Dany fucking around for an entire season for no reason instead of just attacking King's Landing
Going north of the wall to capture an ice zombie

In all likelihood, D&D kind of forgot

Stannis is self insert for mid-life to 20 somethings who are pussy whipped into doing shit by their fuckwhit wives
He sucks his character sucks he's a shit head baldet
T. Dany fag fuck snows fuck crows and fuck ironborn and most importantly fuck the iron jew bank
Is that where the dnd memes and after show comments came from? I never watched them before s8 but it was enjoyable watching them trying to explain how they fucked up so bad they killed the world's biggest TV show in one episode lmao
She was foreshadowed as being a insane heartless posh hating psycho dragon bitch from the start
She wasn't just suddenly gonna break good and become some angelic goodie goodie
It was the few things that got remained consistent at portraying but yes they really fucked up the execution of said arch
>waaah Jon snu no snu snu me REEEEEE

>She was foreshadowed as being a insane heartless posh hating psycho dragon bitch from the start
What are you talking about? I didn't write anything complaining about Dany being evil.

She definitely had a evil side but I don't think Jon snu was right from a moral standpoint to kill her and the incest part was fumbled as fuck especially the off screen stuff so the whole shoe just ends with a bunch of dangling questions and plotlines

Martin will be at comic con this July. D&d still in the bunker. Could this be a winds of winter announcement?

Attached: 77B3931F-B7FD-403F-B4E3-1103D5CB3294.png (476x629, 96K)

The only thing that ruined Rodrick's scene was Bran's acting. It was fucking shit. The dead farm boys scene was my favorite of the two. Luwin's wail of despair and the camera panning to the corpses, was chilling. The intensity of that scene was unmatched.

Looking at it again you are right, the farm boy scene is better. And the way the music continues as the show goes into the credits is the best way they could have ended that episode.

>She definitely had a evil side but I don't think Jon snu was right from a moral standpoint to kill her
No seriously, what are talking about? You asked me to list bad things about seasons 5 to 7, I did, and now you're replying to me with some rambling stuff about Dany turning evil.

He is most definitely /ourturboautist/, fuck Preston.
He doesn't just explain why shit's bad, he actually gets into Dabid's mindset, it's really eye-opening.

Any news of the prequels?

Lol gurm is never ever releasing that book

To me personally this scene was THE peak.

Pirates of the Caribbean kraken was pretty cool

The season 4 finale is a better series finale than the actual series finale

It was great, I would have loved it if we got a scene like this in the show (assuming the theory about Euron using a kraken to absolutely fuck up the Redwyne fleet is true of course).

youtube.com/watch?v=nJLtzIqkiKg

Season 6 works great as a series finale too.

Audiences might have wanted to actually see the final battle, but by all logic it's a foregone conclusion.

Why doesn't Alfie have an emmy yet?

Show runners only care about getting emmys for Dinklage and Headey

It's really a shame, he did such a great job with Theon and even with the bad writing of the last few seasons he still had a pretty satisfying story.

Idk, we haven't seen one yet.

Depends on what the actors believe is "hot", he's either a redditor or one of us.

It was a good episode but it definitely doesn't work as a series finale.

Starfall I assume

For me; It's the Boltons

It's really lucky that Jon was born looking like a Stark. If he popped out with silver-blonde hair and violet eyes Ned would have been fucked.

He could have sent Jon to Essos. Jon would need a caretaker though.

The ruined Stannis’s motivation for going to the Wall. That scene will never not piss me off. At least when he showed up in the season four finale that had him side by side with Davos and being being respectful of Jon (it seemed like he was there to help because it’s right it because Mel told him to) so most show watchers forgot about that and when I watch that scene I can pretend it was because of the cart before the horse reasoning.
Watching the last two episodes of season four in the movie theater in IMAX was my favorite experience ever with the show.

What an overdone edgelord. Show Bolton is an improvement.

Wouldn't doubt it considering they're turbohacks

S8 is the quintessential dumpster fire. You can literally see it was mutilated beyond repair and patchworked into a six episode (lmaoo) mess

I think a lot of people can all agree seasons 5 onward are devoid of any logic. From Stannis burning Shireen, to fucking Dany shit, we as an audience are just left baffled by the actions the characters make because it's a sloppy rushed mess written in a week.

Attached: Screenshot 2019-06-15 15.59.52.png (1920x1080, 689K)

>From Stannis burning Shireen
This one especially is annoying because in the books, Stannis leaves Shireen at the Wall with his wife and some guards for the explicitly stated purpose of keeping her safe if he dies in battle. He sends men to Essos to hire sellswords and tells them "if I die, it doesn't matter, come back anyway and fight for Shireen".

Stannis burning Shireen makes absolutely no sense.

>Stannis burning Shireen makes absolutely no sense.

Plus for the fucking reason.

>lol it's cold we can't eat, time to burn her.

There is a fucking lake you can fish at and he has a fucking armada at Eastwatch.

Jon walks all over Dany almost from the very beginning, but the audience is supposed to believe that Dany is too strong-willed for him (as if that would matter when he is King-Consort) and that Northerners abhor incest (which is a show invention, because Ned's parents were cousins and the Starks practiced avunculate incest in the past). The show even tells us that Dany views Jon as a threat to her claim, but she never does and even saves him twice after learning he is the rightful heir.

Dabid and Dabid were so lazy that it's not even funny. At least have Dany try to boss Jon around to emphasize the point that she is power hungry. Don't have Jon treat her like a fucking doormat for 11 episodes and then tell us that she is the one with all the power in this relationship.

Attached: 1560033852788.png (1237x670, 45K)

The worst part of shireen in the show imo was davos, he went out of his way to save gendry but left shireen, left her in a fucking army camp marching to war what did he think would happen

t. Robb Stark.

Imagine taking a show this seriously

Is there any character D&D haven't ruined?

Attached: Screenshot 2019-06-11 05.59.59.png (1920x1080, 487K)

Also Stannis held out during a siege to the point that his men were all starving, his wife was close to starving to death, and he still refused to allow cannibalism. And that's show and book canon, he tells that exact story to Davos. But then
>wow it's snowing hard
>fuck, time to set my daughter on fire.

>Also Stannis held out during a siege to the point that his men were all starving,

Along with the fact that from seasons 6 to season 8, armies were moving just fine in the middle of fucking winter thought the north just fine, with no problem feeding themselves, making what Stannis did utterly pointless and stupid.

brienne

I think Davos can be forgiven for
1. Having complete faith in Stannis (that's arguably his most important character trait)
2. Never thinking for a moment that Stannis would ever let Shireen get hurt.
When Robb goes to war against the Lannisters for example, he has a guard of 50 men with his mother and instructs them to take her safely back to Winterfell if he loses. That seems like standard practice for such an important family member, and anyone with half a brain would assume that Stannis would take such precautions with his daughter.

Oh yeah that too. Winter kind of stopped having an effect on medieval armies, they just started using Uber Eats to get their food.

was there even anyone from Yea Forums (so no normies) that liked daenerys before S8?

mmm yeah idk about that one

Attached: 1556814364236.png (1920x1080, 991K)

I liked her and Tyrion as future villains

They ruined her from S5 onwards, she became an insufferable unbeatable YASS QUEEN cunt

>Jon Takes the Black
That's what I hope. But it's clearly obvious in the end, he gets to run free with the Wildings and probably ends up being one of their leaders, if not the top one. How the hell is that a punishment? He gets to live out his life in lands above the Wall that's as large as Canada, according to GRRM. Do people honestly think he's going to adhere to his vows of taking no wife, bearing no children, keeping no titles? Hell no. He's going to be Wilding Nobility and is going to bed as many as red haired women as possible.

>Born amidst salt and smoke? Is he a ham?

Don't know if I can ever watch this show again knowing what I know now. Fuck.

I'm just gonna read the books.

I didn't like Dany and I never considered Jonerys would happen (which is stupid in hindsight), but tsundere Dany was cute in season 7. Many people on here liked her then.

no

Attached: DIV-74zWsAInFkH.jpg (1200x814, 117K)

Here's how it should have gone:

Qyburn realizes all is lost, he gives the order to surrender. Bells ring. Dany isn't having any more of Cersei's tricks, goes to the red keep and burns it. Damage to the keep kills a couple hundred people. Morally grey that you can argue for and against.

It's kinda out if character for her to cry like that unless she's crying for Jaime not herself

>How the hell is that a punishment?
Why "punish" Jon in the first place? The Unsullied left before they even saw his punishment carried out. Bran also sent him to the Wall where there are thousands of Wildling who worship him. Jon could just go North with zero consequences, which he might have done.

Oh, and there is also a dragon on the loose and Jon is the only one who might be able to control it.

Cersei after learning of the surrender, issues order to burn the city to the ground, before she could, the hound and arya appear. They fight the mountain. Cersei goes to the throne room. She is confronted by Jaime, who brings up all the horrible shit she has ever gone. She says all she has done was for him, she will burn this city to the ground for him. Jaime realizes there is no way of reasoning with her, and strangles her.

>Do people honestly think he's going to adhere to his vows of taking no wife, bearing no children, keeping no titles?
No one takes their vows seriously in GoT, and many of them aren't even bothering to hide the fact that their violating their oaths. Fucking Sam even uses it as an insult against Ed, because the latter is one of the few in his order that's actually loyal and believe his oathbound to the Night's Watch. He fucking dies for that fatfuck. I'm surprised no one's taking that twice traitor to the NIght's Watch and Maester's to court and beheading that traitorous pig with the fate he deserves.

>He fucking dies for that fatfuck.

I get triggered every time I remember this.

Kings landing should've been a massive pyrric victory because of cersei but they made it one sided for the shock value

Shrek 2 was pure kino

I was at comic con with Lena Headey today, and she talked about Cersei. Not sure if theres already videos and stuff but I’ll post what I remember.

She said she REALLY wanted Arya to kill Cersei.

She was “really sad” that Cersei didn’t have more scenes and she was so alone and didn’t get to do more scenes with the other actors.

She really wanted to have a last scene with Tyrion before she died. She said inside her Cersei loves Tyrion “so much” and admire his intelligence and wit. That is why she could not kill him when she had the chance twice and she was sad she didn’t get to play those feelings out with him. She realised her true feelings at the end after losing everything and truly did love Jaime when they died.

Cersei was supposed to lose her baby after Jaime left, Lena filmed the scene and found the scene really great. She said it was really traumatic and would have served Cersei differently. But it never made it in and they went the other route.

She hated her “turnip” wig and her tight dresses where she could hardly lift her arms. Loved Michele Clapton’s designs though.

She loved that Jaime and Cersei died together and that their bond was so strong (she said the “bastard” didn’t have to do Brienne though) and thought the death was sad and made sense, but she had really hoped it would have been Arya with Jaime or Tyrions face.

If she could play another character she wanted to be Arya (who she kept mentioning) or Brienne (who she loves).

She was crying a lot when filming her last scene with Nikolaj and he was like “what is wrong with you?” but then he started crying too.

She didn’t mind Bran on the throne, “he seems pretty chill”, she wanted Arya on it but said she deserved her “vacation”.

Her favorite character she has played is Cersei because she played her for so long and she loved her as the “broken survivor” she was.

She loved being part of GOT for so many years, praised the whole team (including the writers).

Arya's moment should've been when she killed Cersei, not the NK.

>His seat of power is castle black
What happened to the night's watch?

There's video of her talking about the miscarriage scene they cut out

t. Harren the Black

Reminder that not only Sam gets away with all his oathbreaking, selling out both the Night's Watch and Maesters, but his wife and his wife's son gets to stay and rule his House, all the while Sam gets promoted to Grand Maester, gets pardoned from the Night's Watch and gets to sits on the small council. Life's not fair in GoT, and Sam is proof of it. At least Tyrion is shown to be competent as being hand and ruling early in the seasons. What are Sam's qualifications?

did Lord Baelish still have Harrenhal when he married lysa arryn?

Davos was completely fucked over. He completely forgets Stannis ever existed after Season 5.

Harrenhal was still on the table for Petyr, yes.

Also forgets that his wife and one surviving son exist.

the writers wrote him as generic honourable good guy and didn't understand his loyalty to stannish

>Troy is a 2004 epic period war film written by David Benioff

>his wife's son
Rare example of a chad cuck.

I'm glad the spoilers didn't confirm the stupidest fan theory that Tyrion is a Targ bastard by being secretly a rape baby via Aerys.

so who was looking after it while he was in the vale?

Davos completely forgot that Jon existed, too. Everyone did. Bran, Sam, Sansa and Tyrion knew the importance of Jon being the rightful heir, but everybody kind of forgot about it once Daenerys died. R+L=J was a plot device to turn Dany mad.

It doesn't matter if he had faith in him she shouldn't have been in a fucking warzone

The castellan, presumably. Don't know who that was in the show, but in the books it's Bonifer Hasty.

>start of the series
>loved the Starks, didn't care for dragon bitch
>end of series
>love Dany, hate Sansa and Bran
this show was such a fucking ride, and not even a good one.

Davos, Varys, and Tyrion have their competent levels so reduced in the last seasons that Sansa and Arya just seem more abled than them, despite those men having decades of experience. It's honestly sad to see that Dinklage and Hill can see the poor writing of D&D. That it's really retarded to hide in the crypts when you're fighting the army of the undead. At least Baelish got screwed over because Bran has magical powers that allows him to be everywhere at once and see the past, which is something Baelish can't counter.

Who was looking after a ruined castle burned to the ground hundreds of years ago whose Lords never actually stay there and is only used as a figurative seat of power?
I dunno, probably some bandits or some shit.

That's because book-wise R+L=J won't mean much. Jon won't ever sit on the Iron Throne, its just that D&D decided to make Season 6 all fan service, then looked at the cliff notes and went oh fuck.
Baelish could've just fucked off to the Vale, why is he sticking around after Bran said 'Chaos is a Ladder'?

Same, but switch out Bran with Arya.
I was more apathetic towards Bran. He never did anything that seriously pissed me off, aside from his retarded farewell scene with Meera.

well when joffrey gave it to him he said baelish was entitled to all lands and incomes from it, so presumably there's farmland and stuff as well

Emilia is so cute there. Rose too, before she hit the wall. Kit choose poorly.

Attached: emrose.jpg (2048x1439, 906K)

Season 6 is the best season of GoT. Home, The Door, Battle of Bastards and the Season Finale: Winds of Winter. There's some really great episodes.

Bobby B's hammer

Harrenhal is surrounded by vast, fertile farmlands. Very good tax income for the lord. Then there is also Harrentown.

>names the baby after Jon instead of Ed - the guy that died saving him

Based autist.

Sansa isn't even smart. Her insights are common sense things that everybody should know already (e.g., putting leather on armor and having food to feed armies). She wanted to start another Dance of Dragons just because, suffers no consequences for it, and gets to be Queen just because.
>That's because book-wise R+L=J won't mean much.
Which raises the question of why he has to be a secret Targaryen anyway. I know why fAegon exists, but why is Jon a Targaryen? All he does is just kill his aunt and end up back at the Wall.

No wonder he's on rehab, damn.

she's exactly as ugly as ever, don't know what is this meme

I honestly didn't mind her for the first three seasons. Her fucking around in Essos got old after that though, and every time the show cut to Meereen it was a sign that the next 10-20 minutes were going to be completely boring.

Season 7 and 8 Dany was cute though.

Jon being a secret Targaryen is meant to be a red herring. He'll learn about it, but ultimately he won't act upon this revelation, because there won't be a magical Super-Bran to solve all issues in the books and have it so Jon Targaryen is an openly known thing.

Book Jon will be Commander Shepard, not Aragorn. He'll lead armies of men against the Others, but he won't ever rule anything. I doubt he'll become King in the North. Much more likely that'll be Stannis, and by the time he's dead, it won't matter who's the formal ruler so Jon just takes command of all armies as Lord Commander of the Night's Watch.

He deserved it. He was a prick from the start. Fuck him.

Attached: viseryswut.jpg (1280x720, 65K)

he just wanted his mother crown

>but ultimately he won't act upon this revelation

Makes no sense how everyone just believes Jon is a Targ like it's an established fact.

I started liking Dany in S7

>CHAOSH IS A LADDER

>Sansa isn't even smart. Her insights are common sense things that everybody should know already
Exactly. All the characters that should know more than her somehow don't. She even ridicules Jon for winning the Battle of the Bastards and credits herself for the win, even though she told Jon she was getting reinforcements and Jon loses the majority of his army for no reason at all. It's such hogwash that Jon or any of the Northerners who fought in that battle never calls Sansa out on such a vital piece of information that could save them most of their forces if they simply just waited it out.
