Glass

This was great, why did critics hate it?

the ending was shit
this kind of "superhero fight" would never go viral

Because Dingdong fucked the pacing and shoved an hour of material into the last fifteen minutes. The twist was fucked too "people will now believe in superpowers because of two guys fighting". I still liked it and the pacing doesn't bother me as much, but if the twist was that powers were going to be exposed it needed to be something that would work. The way it ended just seemed like something that would be easy for the organization to squash in an afternoon.

Critics are brainlets, and shyalmalanan is an easy target.
Yea Forums was disappointed with bruce willis anticlimactic death for the most part, but then again Yea Forums is mostly comprised of capeshitters so fuck them too.
Overall this is a great trilogy.

It was decent, great actors but I hated that poo shoehorning in the movie. Aldo, more Ania, less nigs

I feel bad at the end prior the stream thing. Bruce Willis character didn't deserve that pitiful end of drowning in a puddle, no matter how "poetic" it is. It's just sad and demeaning at what the character of Unbreakable was. I suppose it was like that becaues Bruce Willis is now an unhiring prick.

Only american “critics” did. We love Shaymalan over here.

McAvaoy's performance made me cringe
>Dude look how many people I can pretend to be

He's an actor. That was the script. He was just doing his job.

I thought he did fine, but Shyamalan went overboard with the gimmick. At least McAvoy was professional enough to commit to the cheese and sell it as best he could.

ending was pure shit

capeshitters wanted an epin final battle and an after credits scene with nick fury

I liked it too, way more than I like normal capeshit. But maybe I have bad taste in movies, I also really love twists and unpredictability.
Fu he’s a great actor

wheres anyas super power? she got molested too right?

like superman her powers come from her races interaction with earths conditions

It was absolute fucking kino user, no doubt about it. Just like Unbreakable, it’s the kind of cape shot I can get behind.

it angers me that anyone who values Unbreakable or even Split would call Glass great or good. It's the most disappointing movie I've ever seen, even though Night has made worse movies, it is his biggest failure

I loved this film until i didn't.

it's the ending, isn't it?

Yes?

is that a question?

Yes?

what?

Yes?

dragged like a slog

why are you doing this

First one was to show confusion over the need to question that obvious conclusion you made.
Second was a joke.
Third was other user.

I'm glad I got to see this through to the end

What a twist.

Slow as fuck, felt tiny in scope and the big twist was nonsense.

maybe the real twist was the friends we made along the way

There was a bad moment where it seemed like they were finally going for a climax and leaving the tiny hospital at last, then they started fighting in the parking lot and I realized oh dear this is the whole climax isn't it, we're never leaving this set.

>guy turning into a wolf and running on all fours pushing a van over wouldn’t go viral

>fake and gay
>that CGI is shit

no it wouldn't

>this was great
But it wasn't? Probably the worst movie I've ever watched.

Not enough of

Because it wasn't great

>huge build up
>huge let down

The """"twist"""" was the worse part

Whatever he was going for, it didn't work and wasn't what anyone wanted. Subverting for the sake of subverting isn't much to watch, it's just disappointing.

Yeah. Misdirection is risky when what you're promising is bolder than what you give. And being stuck in one setting works when you're able to make the audience imagine they're some place else or keep them occupied with a mystery (Hateful 8) but not so much when the story is contained like it was in the hospital. I liked the movie. I got the idea of an anticlimax fitting in with the theme of real life heroes not being like comic heroes with grande showdowns and valiant deaths, but I get why some people were bummed. Poor Elijah, poor David, poor Kevin. Hopefully he makes more in spite of a mixed reception, but I doubt it.

One of (if not the) most honest capeshits ever made

Based and ayypilled
Fuck she's cute

>some guys were fighting, superheroes must be real

It built up a huge climax and introduced the classic "LOL WHAT A TWIST" as an even lamer climax instead.

The secret society was dumb and there was absolutely zero reason for anyone to care about them.

She was barely in it

My man. This scene was pure kino. From the Beast's full gallop, to the directing from the inside of the van, to David full on throwing a team of Swat members like toys.

nice

it was shit

>capeshit is great

It was okay at best. Felt like the whole movie was slow build up for absolutely nothing.

Directed by M. Night Shyamalamadingdong

no support?

You literally witness the 3 different qualities of Shyamalan in the 3 acts
Goes from good to alright to shit

Pretty accurate description

she basically never wears bras

this

>guy turning into a wolf
That didn't happen though.
>pushing a van over
There are already videos like that. Nobody cares. It gets chalked up to PCP, or knowing how to use leverage physics, or hysterical strength, or CGI / deep fakes etc.
