How come Dyatlov didn't suffer as harsh radiation poisoning and exposure as the others in the control room? The moustache guy fucking had his face melted off, but Dyatlov lived well into his 60s? Wtf?
How come Dyatlov didn't suffer as harsh radiation poisoning and exposure as the others in the control room...
No radiation in the toilet
his powers of denial were stronger than the radiation
He left to report the accident, the other guys stayed till morning trying to do what they could.
he died in 87 but stayed alive by sheer force of denial
Bunsen Honeydew and Beeker were waistdeep in feedwater, Dyatlov remained in the control room.
Toptunov went to try and pump water into the core like he was told, he spent several hours in the pump room turning valves while Dyatolv was in the nuclear bunker with the higher ups.
This isn't his first nuclear disaster. After his son died from his first one, he sought to conquer the atom through sheer power of denial
lmao
I had a friend like this who used to be a semi retarded skinhead. He would go out in -10 C in just a tshirt but would never get sick because he didn't believe the cold makes you sick.
His balls actually fell off.
It wasn't great, but it's not horrifying.
>Man literally too angry to die
>3.6 roentgen
>harsh radiation poisoning
Being in the cold doesn't make you sick, Ameriburger
>-10 C in just a tshirt
is that supposed to be cold comrade?
The people in the control room, where dyatlov stayed, got about 5 roentgens per hour. Not great not terrible. The core itself was emitting about 50,000 roentgens. The guys who got the worst exposure, roof guy, the firefighters who also went to the roof, and the three or four techs who went to the core from inside the plant got the worst exposures, something in the range of 10,000 to 15 or 20,000 I think.
He is right .
HIS ONE EYELID IS DROOPING AND I CAN'T UNSEE
>The moustache guy fucking had his face melted off
Fucking hell
ikr. he's literally retarded
was that the guy who looked down into the reactor from the roof?
>something in the range of 10,000 to 15 or 20,000 I think.
so specific
love it
left early, never went to manually "lower" the bars
>Dyatlov's Pass
>Anatoly Dyatlov
Hmmm...
No, that was Sitnikov.
This is Toptunov shot made to look like Akimov since Mazin was a wimp.
Is that a shop?
yeah, this guy doesn't even have a mustache.
Honestly if you knew what was going to happen within a day or two what would you use for your last fap?
Yes, it's melty edits.
I dont remember this in the series
Same but he was a Pajeet. He'd say that for summer heat tho. Would walk around in a thick woolen jacket in 40c+ temp to prove people wrong.
the cold doesn't directly make you sick but it can contribute as being cold lowers your immune system
Is that guy still alive? Or is he dead?
those were HBO international only.
They didn't show it because they thought what happened to Ignatenko and Toptunov was terrible enough, they didn't want to cross the line between horror and gore porn
CROSSOVER SERIES WHEN???
Is this what Akimov looked like when he was interviewed in the show? Holy fucking shit. Thank God that was only showed internationally.
>Others in the control room
Obviously it was because he was in the toilet during their reckless testing, and the toilet is radiation proof
>he doesn't know
In Voices from Chernobyl, they say his face was black like a negro and dried like a mummy.
This is more Fallout ghoul tier and juicy radiation decomposition.
Oligarchs rarely preach wat they practice
I do this if it's sunny and there's no wind
Why didn't they all just tackle him?
Because there was no radiation
Based retard
The building was protected to a certain degree. He didnt look directly into the core, walk through the water or pick up any contaminated objects like graphite. That and pure luck. He was exposed to 500REM in a previous accident and lived. Guy clearly was hard as nails.
Tbh there's probably something to this. I'd wager that a lot of the effects of "heat" and "cold" are the effects of panic.
It did kill him eventually, 9 years later.
Moustache guy hung his head over the top of the fucking exposed core. Also him and the young skinny guy went down near the core to release the water out.
>the west retards doesn't know that most of the workers survived Chernobyl
this dude was in control room with Dytlov and he still lives as well as that wife of a firefighter
Wool is actually a good insulator.
He understood that reality can be influenced by thoughts. By refusing to accept the reality of what happened, he was able to create his own micro universe where he truly was only exposed to 3.6 roentgen.
>It takes a strong man to deny the graphite in front of his eyes.
>Bunsen and Beeker
I can’t get rid of this image now.
He died in 95
