There's some charm in its cheesiness but I say the most impressive thing is the way he can pull off Clark and Supes. Not many can do both sides of Superman that well and even switch between them convincingly. I like that Reeve is in good shape but not really muscular. Superman strength comes from his biochemistry doing magic thanks to yellow sun, so it makes sense for him to not be buff. While if Clark Kent was equally huge as Supes, that'd definitely raise more suspicions
