I miss him. He was the only non-parody talk show I’d actually watch.

i miss him so much
sadly, it was unironically a different time
I still watch his alcoholism monologue every once in a while
Daffy Dook
>watching interview compilations of the same guest and seeing how they build a rapport.
was a good show
>for legal reasons, no
>for anecdotal reasons... sure
All those videos got pulled from youtube unfortunately
His standup ain't halfbad either
>how hot was it in LA today Geoff?
>*waggles one hand*
>SO HOT
>*throws frisbee to fake horse & log at fake fire*
Peak comfy late night kino
he's overrated
He couldn't get away with the self deprecating creepiness nowadays
>always hate late night talk shows
>be chatting online in living room every night
>hear mom getting absolutely rekt with laughter each night
>finally check it out
>it's Craig; he's hilarious
He was the only one worth watching.
I'm not the only one?
This, have no fucking idea what Yea Forumss obsession with this late night hack is
More tolerable than the modern generation but he was offered nothing superior over letterman, big chin and conan
Compared to Letterman, yes. Compared to the shit we have now? You're wrong.
You must be old. Letterman stopped being good in the 25 years ago.
Because there hasn't been anyone since Letterman. Not Leno, not Conan, and Stewart doesn't really count. Old doesn't mean wrong, user.
>Hello, it's Serge from Philadelphia
>You could never his show today because of metoo
Pop quiz: what's the capital of Iceland?
>Iceland is in the North Atlantic, its capital city is Reykjavik
Then one time he had a really stupid guest on and instead of asking an unrelated question he just asked her what the capital of Iceland was and she still didn't get it right away
He would get metooed immediately. We didnt deserve him
I miss the days when talk shows were supposed to be entertainment not propaganda.
he does the best prince charles impressions
Late Night era Conan was good. He just couldn't make the transition to the earlier hour.
I was actually glad Craig didn't get the Late Show job, because I knew he would suffer the same fate. They should have given it to Stewart rather than Colbert, but Dave fucked that up by hanging around so long that Stewart lost interest.
And it's not really fair to compare Craig to peak Dave, or even Conan, because his show never had the budget or exposure that they had. Craig did an amazing job with what they gave him, and even made it part of the charm of his show that it was so comparatively low-budget (I actually kind of preferred his early period, pre-Geoff, because of this). It was a different brand of humor, by necessity, than is typical of late night TV in the U.S.
> That time he stood in front of the audience and talked about when he was a raging alcoholic when he was younger and decided to kill himself one day but ended up getting drunk instead, and how thinking about it made him not want to make fun of young celebrities like Britney Spears who were going through an emotional crisis anymore
