It was good in the way a long shounen anime like FMA(B) is good. You're in it to see the characters overcome absurd odds while cool music plays and you get nice hero shots. It was definitely a better movie than fucking Avatar, but it never stood a chance of beating its box office after inflation and foreign-take fuckery (China takes something like 75%+).
It was the Return of the Jedi of the 2010s, and is probably a better film than that.

Time travel is almost always bad but in this movie it was even worse since it had little to no foreshadow, explanation or even reason, it was literally LMAO SUPER SCIENCE. This movie is possibly one of the worst cases of time travel bullshit in several years.

Yes, it's based on capeshit comic books where such silly things happen issue-ly. It's no TDKR where we're relying on real world logic and send the entire police force into the sewers at once. The super science comes from the super scientist when he's pressured to try one more time. It's not hard to understand, but your contrarian mind rejects the simplest of concepts because it needs something more, even when detail doesn't fucking matter because it's a capeshit movie.
