the Color of magic, pretty good. irons was miscast tho

Triplets of Belleville

The Long Goodbye. Pretty good, nice mix of humor, mystery and cynicism. Could have used a few more clues throughout, the ending is great and it makes sense but it still kind of comes out of nowhere.

PS: Yes, the big guy is circa 1973 Arnold with a mustache.

I honestly can't remember. The first John Wick, maybe.

Robocop

Austin powers, the first one

Mad Max: Fury Road

God's Own Country

rewatched the village
Obviously, it doesn't work as well when you know the ending but the elders not going through the woods themselves to get medicine was particularly retarded.
That being said, "Bryce Dallas "construction in progress" Howard's performance was better than I remembered.

mandy

it was pretty good rage cage did an excellent job

WHITE SQUALL

The Spy Who Came in from the Cold
Finished book few days before. Good.

Rodan

Just watched this a week ago when I found out with was Philip Marlowe, grew up with the radio programs. Quite liked the movie too looked just how I imagined it listening to the radio programs

Eraserhead. Was ok but I like Mulholland Drive and Inland Empire better.

I had to sign an NDA before watching it so can’t reveal too much

High iq post.

V for Vendetta, for the first time since I watched it in high school. I think it's held up pretty well.

I didn’t ask for details I asked if it was good
Did you like it?

It might have been an imposter, but somebody who was at least pretending to be that guy said that he thought it was "average."

Oh ok I didn’t see that well that sucks

Day of Wrath

A Quiet Place

Ditto, both on movie and opinion.
Based.

He literally gave up. He never wanted to do them and had no idea what to do with the third.
They basically winged it and had the actors waiting around on set for hours.

Hostiles

John wick 3

Us, it was alright.

Aladdin

Terminator, but I didn't finish. Prefer the second part. faggot netflix.

Pretty gud black Kino. I have a real soft spot for black centric movies especially from this time period since it so rare to see.

I Am Mother
Enjoyed it, but kind of a sloppy ending

Endgame.

i hate movies

Rashomon

The Nice Guys. Fun movie, enjoyed it more than the first time I watched it.

kino

Training day

the only thing that was disturbing was the thing on the hidden tape, made me feel dirty, the rest of the movie was pretty generic

>Didn't want to do them in the first place
>Convinced to do it when Del Toro dropped out and they unloaded a dump truck of money on his doorstep
>Told he has to stretch it out to three movies
>Not given anywhere near enough pre-production time after having to start from scratch
>Forced to do almost everything on green screen to ensure they could stick to a schedule
>Gave so little fucks by the end Andy Serkis was directing half the movie
LOTR is a labour of love, Hobbit was a cash grab.

The Adjustment Bureau.

Rewatched Hell or High Water. Might be the coolest movie of all time, feels like it doesn’t belong in this decade, like there’s a certain olden times wisdom to it.

Outlaw King

American Gangster.

A slasher movie from 1986 called "Truth or Dare". Highly recommended.

well I was trying to get through that recent godzirra

DEEPWATER
HORIZON

Men in black international

absolutely based. it would be a disservice to call it kino. no.. it's a masterpiece

Deadwood movie.

spiderman homecoming

What is this from?

Betty Blue

French romantic comedy from the late 80s. It's one of those movies on the Criterion site that doesn't have the Criterion or Janus logos.

It was pretty good. Very slick visually, looked more like something from the mid 90s or later. It's definitely a manic pixie dream girl type thing with lots of nudity, but it's also kind of wacky. Kinda reminded me of Stolen Kisses.

pacific rim in hdr

The Craft, it had been ages since I've seen it

I wasn't surprised by the solution of the mystery itself but the resolution of the conflict was kind of underwhelming. The final scene was pretty kino nevertheless.

The dead don't die.

Just got back from watching Godzilla 2. It was pretty good, dont know why the critics were mad about it. Even the human story was better than the 2014 one and some of the shots were kino.
I also love that they nuked Atlantis.

Let the Right One In
It was introvert kino

GitS : Innocence

Where like the mother was like the god, and hilary swank is like a child of the mother and like the mother thought it was like a good idea to keep her alive because to test the daughter. not the first daughter obviously but the daughter we saw that came before the mexican son. How did you not like that?

The City of the Dead

I honestly can't remember. I watched the new Sandler Netflix movie then the first episode of Too Old To Die Young then it's a blank. Yes I drink.

Benicio del Toros character gets shot in the face but survives in the second movie and helps the person who shot him become a sicario. Shit ending 0/10

Day of the Dead

American Psycho, rewatched it with my gf who hadn't seen it last night. Her only response was "uh-huh"

The Book of Henry.

Raimi Spider-Man, because i'm a rational thinker

PKD wasn't a hack, fag. Sorry you couldn't handle the rich worldbuilding and complex philosophical quandaries.

Also, by the way, The Book of Henry was one of the best films of this decade.

The Ladykillers with Guinness and Sellers. Ending was pure kino

Trainspotting
