There is a pilot in the works which is set to air in early 2020. Frasier has moved back to Seattle after a successful radio career in San Francisco and starts a psych practice. Most of the original cast reprise their roles, and the series mostly revolves around Frasier's daily work life dealing with patients. Marty has been written out of the show (rip). There's also a new addition to the cast, a British actor whose character becomes a show regular.
Kelsey will officially announce that the reboot is underway probably sometime in the fall.

Maybe they can finally portray Seattle like it really is: full of homeless, smelling of piss, tent cities, and syringes on the sidewalks.
veneer
I'm disappointed that it's back in Seattle. Should have been a new city and a new plotline. Then you get three completely unique arcs to his character with Boston/Seattle/New City.
yes
this, Seattle is so 90s and so is Frasier (and maybe Frasier should stay a part of the past)
Kelsey, yes, OK, but nobody wants to see the original cast all looking like geriatrics now, it should be set in a college where he teaches and he deal with millenials and their bullshit and he maybe has a GenX secretary but please don't just try to redo original Frasier with a bunch of 70 year olds now. Sad.
This. It shouldn't be treated as a reboot. It should be a continuation.
OP here. It's not really the same format as the original show. There's new sets and the characters' lives are completely different.
In the pilot, Frasier goes to Cafe Nervosa for old time's sake and finds out it's now a hipster coffee shop. The atmosphere annoys him so he doesn't return.
Well i laughed
top kek.
Nah that's definitely Ham Radio
Friendly reminder that Peri Gilpin is a hardcore gun-control progressive, so any political episodes will probably be shit
Agreed.
>when Niles starts popping the balloons
Will there be a new Eddie?
Frasier has a pet monkey named cam winston
pussy
my aunt dated Kelsey Grammar briefly after his cocaine charge. She didn’t put much thought into it at the time but said she was confused as to why they always had their dates at his house (while he was on house arrest)
As much as loved the series when it first aired and its great for binge watching. They should leave it alone. It just shows that no one had a successful career since the show ended and is trying to recapture the magic. This sensitive pc generation that hates upper middle-class straight people will never accept this series.
fuck you buddy
How big is his hog? What position did they use the most?
