Hey bros, what did you think of Alien Covenant? Will the conclusion to the prequel trilogy ever get made? I hope so. I thought it was bretty gud, solid suspenseful action and realistic gore. I enjoyed the David vs. Walter storyline too.
I watched all 6 alien movies this week, after only ever having seen the original kino. my ranking:

Prometheus definitely was better than the Covenant clusterfuck
I was let down by it desu. I knew better than going into a new era Alien movie hyped but yeah it wasn't great. Felt very rushed and the writing was meh.
It was not great, but neither was Prometheus.
Just curious why you thought Covenant was a clusterfuck? The only scene from 2deep4metheus I really enjoyed was the main girl giving herself robotic C-section surgery to extract that alien
It's alright, I don't really get why it's so divisive or why people hold he franchise to such a high standard.
The main gripe I have with the franchise is the protagonists using the same tactic to kill the final alien at the end of the movie, in 4 out of 6 movies. (sucking it out into space)
The movie turned unintentionally into a comedy, "let me do the fingering", "do you dream of me when you sleep", and the David twist near the end was so obvious.
Also the background story about the creators would've made more sense than just some android going crazy for no reason which didn't even make sense

There were only two alien movies, Alien and Aliens. Everything that came after that ruined the franchise in ways Jar Jar Binks could only dream about.
