>12 Angry Men (1957)
What a serf.

>Superman - The Movie (1978)
Pretty patrician, not gonna lie

i don't need to watch anything. fuck off

All those are better than his shitty Batman movies.

>The Tree Of Life (2011)
>First Man (2018)
Looks like he felt obligated to throw some shit from this decade on there.

he didn't direct any of those films retard, he hasn't even made thirty films probably

Based Chris

>All Quiet On The Western Front
Based.

If this is a joke I ain't laughing.

Looks like a patrician to me. Yea Forums absolutely and unequivocally BTFO yet again.

>no End of Evangelion

Absolute pleb taste

Close Encounter couldve been Spielbergs best until the last 20 mins

>12 Angry Men (1957)
wtf is this nigga 100 years old lmaoo??

Based. The only truly must-see films are Metropolis, 2001, Koyaanisqatsi, The Tree of Life, and Star Wars, so this list pretty much exhausts everything cinema has to offer as an art form.

>no Conan
>Private Ryan
>fucking Tree of life but no Master and Commander
Trash opinion i hope he gets cancer soon

I didnt really enjoy 12 angry men or the thin red line
also is he saying starwars is that good or just that you should see it because its so popular?

That you should see it because of it's influence on pop culture.

The original Star Wars is an immensely important film in the history of the medium, for better or worse.

>no love for apocalypse now
Chris mate why are you doing this?

Do not think these are the films he thinks are the definite best films ever made or anything like that, it's just a collection of films he thinks most people should see.

Before shooting Dunkirk he screened to the entire crew The Wages of Fear by Clouzot and praised it time and time again, yet you don't see it here on the list either.

fascinating stuff but if Star Wars is on there, Empire should be there too... that's where the character development occurs.

oh he likes Sunrise, and The Tree of Life? Some really trippy shoegazer shit imo

How do the Brits manage to avoid listing French films? Can't they watch them even with subtitles? Like no Bresson or anything?

>12 Angry Men (1957)
THE BIGGEST meme movie of all time

>First Man (2018)
Based
