You know what they say op bummers are deaf

Imagine thinking the league of gentlemen is the peak of British comedy, it's ok but theres acres of British comedy that are far better
cope
I SAID BUMMERS ARE DEAF!!!
didn't watch but know it's based
geoff tipps ftw
Such as?
eh?
In no particular order
>Bottom
>Black books
>Father Ted
>Red dwarf
>IT Crowd
>Chewin the fat
>The Inbetweeners
>Friday night dinner
>Little Britain
>The new statesman
>The young ones
>The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin
>Still game
>Plebs
>Blackadder (except the first season)
>Come fly with me
>The young offenders
That's all I can think of off the top of my head but there's probably more I can't think of
> shows that would be better without the titular character
girl and jack get their own odd couple spinoff WHEN?
Okay, the fact that you rate Little Britain and Come Fly With Me higher than League of Gentlemen tells me you’re fucking retarded.
Good day to you, sir.
Are you fucking illiterate the top of my post says in no particular order
the movie was okish tho
>no peep show
>no thick of it
disgusting lad
Never seen the thick of it but Peep show was one that I didn't think of, it's fucking great and deserves a place on the list
You said you could name shows far better than league of gentleman you bilious simpleton
There was a claim made that there were British comedies far better than the League of Gentlemen. I asked for examples and you replied with a list, at least two of which are the most repetitive, unimaginative, shit-tier comedies to ever appeal to the munchie-box eating, lager swilling, never-employed council flat filler market.
I am far from illiterate sir, I suggest that you look up from your Carling Extra and greasy cardboard box of fried food and develop some class.
He also missed Monkey Dust.

give thick of it a go, the film in the loop is also worth watching
Ah I see your point good sirs, alas in my fervour to show what British comedy had to offer I failed to remember my true purpose and instead posted any comedies I could think of. You're quite right to say come fly with me is inferior to LOG but I feel little Britain is still amusing
>it's ok
What's not to get?
youtube.com
>american comedy
>HE HAS A TURKEY ON HIS HEAD LMFAO
>canned laughter and applause
>bazpoozki-zimbabwe
>the audience erupts into tears of joy
>Sheldon plays on his emulated nintendo 64
>the set is destroyed as audiences cannot control their hysteria any longer
for me, it's norf comedy
all three are unfunny shite
Here is American class A comedy
I see you are also a man of culture, I apologise for my rash words. However I still feel that Little Britain is three or four lowbrow jokes repeated ad nauseam. So we must continue to disagree on that score.
Believe me user, it is by no means my favourite. That title must surely go to the fall and rise of Reginald perrin
League of Gentlemen is a lot darker than many people are comfortable with. I understand why many people don’t like it. But to call it unfunny is a little unkind.
League of Gentlemen is god tier comedy horror. The mix of genuinely uncomfortable shit and stupid comedy is kino.
Mrs. Brown's Boys
White Gold is pretty funny
>no the fast show
for fuck's sake you had one job
Stump Hole Caverns is one of my favourite sequences in all of comedy.
Ross’s reveal to Pauline in the final episode of S1 (and his final line to her) is fucking kino too.
Honestly that was pretty interesting. It wasn't funny, but it kind of had a surreal feel to it. I think the canned laughter actually helped.
>>HE HAS A TURKEY ON HIS HEAD LMFAO
Wasn't that a joke in Mr. Bean?
Pikey
Fawlty towers
Oh shit how the fuck did I forget that, also Monty python
I thought OPs pic was the live action berserk movie
The first season had some surreal moments but the show got weirder as it went on. Papa Lazarou (blackface guy in OP’s pic) is third season and about as weird as it gets, at least until the movie.
