This shit made me cry
This shit made me cry
I hate this movie so much
i know
i wish i had an hot aunty who played with my ding dong when i was little
How did they never hear David Bowie before?
Yeah. weirdly enough it’s one of the more plausible and rewatchable coming of age flick
Me too because I never had friends like that. I thought the movie was gay and retarded but the relationships between the characters fucked me up
"oh no, my hot aunt sucked my dick when I was little"
So white, jesus christ.
>tfw he got abused by his aunt and it broke him
>"I'm gonna grow up and be somebody, my life stars right now!" Story #5636589
You zoomers will learn soon enough.
>white girl chooses jew fag #1 over jew fag #2
woah inspiring!
damn what a cute girl
The one on the right or left?
the movie was lame dude
you're a fag
I was really emotional at the time. I identify with Charlie and I read the book years before the movie.
back then the average kid basically didn't hear any music except what their parents played on the radio in the car. Once you get a car and start to drive you suddenly discover all the cool shit your lame parents never listened to. I don't know why people find this part the most outrageous - even today a lot of teenagers aren't exposed to classically popular music until mid-highschool.
ezra didn't even have to act
good job, you discovered a kino. now watch this and report back
No.
>watching this with my mom
>scene where the main character beats up the bullies
>mom makes a comment about how "see? that nerdy loser kid was able to unleash hell on those bullies you could do that too"
>have to tell her that despite not being shown in the movie, there's a moment in the book where the protagonist mentions how his older brother taught him how to fight
This interaction is a lot more pathetic now that I've typed it out
See for me it's the opposite, my high school experience was almost identical to Patrick's down to the secret boyfriend and bullying. That's why the movie fucks me up personally, even though I can also recognize it's a pretty dishonest movie.
Iktf
No one taught me to fight or stick up for myself.
It's set in the early 90's you zoomer Mongloid. Kids had radios in their rooms plus just about everyone had a walkman and a boombox.
80's kids didn't know any David Bowie except Labyrinth; hell, they still don't
Just look at how clueless Yea Forums was before he died
I'm an old grumpy boomer, should I watch it?
it was shit as a grumpy 20-boomer
How old is boomer? I’m 28 and liked it well enough
32, but still able to appreciate beautiful emotional stories (recently absolutely loved A Ghost Story).
