We’re you satisfied with Glass? I was and I enjoyed it. Don’t get why there was such mixed reactions.

Yeah, I agree. Was IMO the best of the three, and I liked the ending.
>we're you
what the fuck man
I’m not going to apologize, but rather admit I made a mistake and am on my phone. Is your autism satiated?
>Is your autism satiated?
NO
Maybe because it looked like it cost $25 to make and destroyed his own mythology and universe with an undercooked script set in a single location
I really liked it and I also enjoyed the ending with them dying. I also would watch a sequel. Didn't get why it has so low ratings.
>no quips
>no epic final battle
>no cinematic universe
yeah, im thinking its shit
Is it possible you were maybe expecting a Marvel-esque ending.
I loved the sequence of events and how they played out. It stayed within the realistic and tonal scope of the rest of the trilogy. Plus....it’s Shyamaylan.
Even though I loved it, I do have to mention how I don’t think enough care went into the way the Overseer went out. I don’t mean he should’ve survived per se, but just that he warranted more of an respectful demise. One second he’s bad end of a fight with the Beast, then before he can recuperate or even deliver a line, he’s dragged to and drowned in a dirty puddle...and that’s the end of the legacy. I mean, at least he knew the truth at the end but still.
Yeah, I liked it, it was refreshing, I wish for the 'it's all just your imagination' angle to be more utilized.
Willis again reminder me that the current generation of actors are all bottom of the barrel trash without a speck of charisma and presence.
>Maybe because it looked like it cost $25
Considering that Black Panther looked like it cost $13 that is a good thing.
no, it's not possible
There are so many directions he could've taken these 3 amazing characters and completely squanderd it, retroactively damaging Unbreakable and even Split. Unbreakable is my favourite movie precisely because the fact he is "superman" is secondary to the fact it's a story about finding your purpose and becoming who you're supposed to be, as well as the whole reconnecting with his wife and son because of it. It's a drama first and superhero origin second, Glass flipped that much to its detriment
Split showed how to make a no budget film correctly. Glass how not to
Dunn's ending didn't seem fitting. Not because he died in a puddle, but because his character was never about gaining recognition for his superpowers since he was always just doing it for a righteous cause. It feels a bit weird that his resolution was lumped in with Glass's and Kevin's since those two actually shared issues of abandonment and lack acknowledgment for their gifts. In Dunn's case, he just felt rope in on Glass' grand plan without actually having that same baggage of wanting the public to know about him.
Left me wanting more. It's an interesting setup for sure. But there's no rush, it should be properly done.
I don't like how all of them died
>We’re you satisfied with Glass?
fuck no
Nope.
I feel like Slumdog can only make a quality film when nobody is expecting him to or everyone has given up on him.
He's like a cage fighter, who only excels when he is backed into a corner with no way out. I look fwd to 11-12 years from now when he comes out with another kino (probably VOD).
I had too turn this shit off half way.
Went full retard
Fucking loved it. It managed to subvert expectations without going off the deep end. Definitely understand much of the critcism the film receives but I still will stand by it. Also it had a bitching soundtrack.

It wasn't David's movie. That said, this scene fucking kills me.

It was pretty fucking great.
>without going off the deep end
user, what? If that ending wasn't going off the deep end for you then I don't think you'll be able to say it about any movie.
Because plebs wanted David and Kevin to have good endings. Im glad Shalayamadingdong gave us a kino version.
I think in my eyes, going off the deep end with respect to that film would have been resorting to an tried and true capeshit throw-down in a super public with both characters fully going all out.
Waaaa. I wanted a big Marvel CGI ending on a skyscraper or some shit. Waaaaa.
I liked it. They were all good, but
Unbreakable > Glass > Split
