It’s really a shame this came out too soon.
If this was today you could have had a ten season show going from Marius and Sulla (Caesar as a young man) through Caesar and Augustus and right on through the storyline of i Claudius even up through Nero if you want as one continuous story of the Julio-Claudian dynasty
That being said if you guys want anything like a 3rd season to Rome watch the 1976 mini series I Claudius
It picks up with Octavian as a middle aged mab and follows through his grandsons reign as empreror
>tfw i like season 2 more then season 1 just because of vorenus and antony's friendship
>watching some old shit
Dude I think I speak for everyone when I say I'm not fucking watching a movie made before 2010. I don't want to watch some old ugly low budget shit
based
>that faggot who recommends I Claudius
fuck off
Kill your self asap
based zoomer
I, Claudius is based and so are you user
Samefag. Disgusting. Kys
im op you barbarian fucking shit
Purefoy in season 2 might be my favorite performance of all time. In the first episode alone he has 4 great scenes.
So you're a faggot. We already knew. Thanks.
Yes he's op
Also read Williams' Augustus, I, Claudius and Memoirs of Hadrian.
outrage culture would castrate it before it even began filming
well read the book then
Lel that ain’t me I’m op
GAIUS
JULIUS
CAESAR
fucking summer
Honestly think this would have been the perfect setting for D&D. They don't have to focus on coming up with a plot and just have to adapt existing material which they were pretty good at.
Get the guy who does the battle episodes and the same various prop/costume/casting people with some better script supervisors and you would unironically have a pure kino show that could go for many seasons
You're probably right
>That scene where Pullo is casually laughing with Vorenus while telling him about raping women while on campaign
Fucking boomers die already
no u
He carried the show. Well, he was the best performance. Killed every scene.
One of the most based men in history of television. Really need to rewatch rome.
