fair trade, he pays for their medical bills
point break
Bill & Ted Excellent Adventure / Bogus Journey
Point Break
Speed
Knock Knock
Devil's Advocate
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Chain Reaction
My Own Private Idaho
is knock knock actually good overall or just good because de armas tits
Bill and ted
It's actually good.
Constantine
And...
>Johnny Mnemonic
My nigga
He saves, but he rapes. But he saves more than he rapes.
THIS. he was made for that role
I mean it's a hollywood, who doesn't?
The Replacements is one of his most underrated films.
Point Break is so fucking good. I watched for the first time in years recently and it was better than I remembered, really got the blood flowing
>Johnny Mnemonic
>"I can carry nearly 50 gigs of data in my head..."
Ah, the 90's... Retrokino
john wick actually good? i dont get it, some guy shoots at people right? worth a watch?
It's overhyped really, just 90's b-movie
>check thread
>Not a single mention of Constantine
Goddamned fucking faggots
He's also in some great movies in bit parts, like Neon Demon and Keanu.
It's fantastic action and world-building
Look at this faggot
this
watch it for ruby rose
Devils Advocate
Big fan of Keanu., but they really are shit. I haven't seen the third one, yet.
Top 3 underated:
River's Edge
Street Kings
Henry's Crime
Keanu has been in some great movies.
> The Lake House
more tentacles
>Keanu Reeves
Blackface John Wick was pretty good
I bet you fags have never seen Prince of Pennsylvania.
Based
Great action. People praise the worldbuilding but it's a bit too ridiculous for me. Still at least it's original.
wasn't he painfully bad in Dracula?
Constantine gets too much shit in my opinion. It also has my favorite movie devil
It's a modern fantasy action movie, that doesn't try to be more than modern fantasy action movie.
The plot of the first one is "John Wick kills everyone hiding the guys that kill his dog"
Second one is "John Wick has to kill more people because of the people he killed in the first one"
Third one is "John Wick has to kill more people because of the guy he killed in the first one"
And most likely the fourth one will be "John Wick has to kill everyone that is after John Wick because of the people he killed on the last one"
god damn this movie caused the biggest argument with my brother, i recommended the series after watching number 3
>it's pretty good, check it out bro
>no, i don't like action movies
>since when? you watch action movies all the time
>they always have something else going on in them
>you JUST got done telling me how much you liked the Resident Evil movies!
>they had other shit going on!
>what action movies shaped this opinion? what are you drawing this from?
>i don't fucking know, i don't watch that shit, i just fucking told you
>that doesn't make sense, something had to sour you on "action movies"
>i watched the trailer and it didn't look good
>ok, what was in the trailer that wasn't appealing?
>i don't know!
kept going for about an hour, Yea Forums and Yea Forums have melted his brain
Yes it's the first movie in about 10 years to move away from "shaking the camera makes everything look epic"
Dude, nobody cares about some gay conversation that you and your brother had.
A Scanner Darkly co starring Alex Jones
The Bill & Ted movies and Point Break are the best.
His role in Neon Demon is amusing too.
It was actually under a gig.
Point Break is amazing. Maybe the best 90s action movie.
>Point Break
u wot mate?
These are the ones I haven't seen (sorted by popularity). Anything worth a watch?
Obviously I'm going to watch JW3. Scanner Darkly has been on the watchlist since forever.
Scanner darkly is very good
Do yourself a favor and watch River's Edge and stop listening to zoomers with zoomer tier knowledge and zoomer shit opinions.
fun fact, our brains process and store around 50 gigs of sensory information from the environment around us, for every second we are awake.
Do not watch the bad batch.
>What are the best best movies Keanu Reeves is in
Yeah, but he is Canadian so it isn't illegal.
river's edge, street kings, and scanner darkly. he's not in neon demon that much but you should watch anyway. avoid bad batch.
Watch A scanner darkly
More violence. Runs longer and explains a couple of things better. Different (original) soundtrack.
It's FREE FUCKIN' PIZZA
Great action sequences, great fight coreography and pretty amazing aesthetics and world-building. It's also very popular and some people might overrate it a bit, but they are very good movies.
please tell me he isnt a part of that shit in hollywood
I know Jared Leto definitely is which killed me at first but it makes a ton of sense
I feel like I'm going crazy because I watched it recently and he clearly says 80GB/160GB with a doubler/was supposed to get upgraded to 320GB but didnt - but I could swear it was more like MB than GB when I saw the movie back in the 90's. Did they go back and dub in some larger numbers to make it sound more plausible? I could swear it was originally just shy of 1GB with the doubler.
I can't be the only one who liked 47 Ronin
maybe you're thinking of the short story
>Ralfi was sitting at his usual table. Owing me a lot of money. I had hundreds of megabytes stashed in my head on an idiot/savant basis, information I had no conscious access to.
MOTHERFUCKER! FOOD EATER!
I don't think I ever read the short story. Hope I haven't been Bearenstein'd again, fuck you CERN.
I heard it was mainly Takeshi's story that was more in depth. I haven't seen it though.
Am I the only one who liked Johnny Mnemonic in the western version? It just gives me this peculiar 90's industrial feel, kinda like Strange Days, makes me think of Cop Shoot Cop and Front Line Assembly.
I like the character design in that movie.
Also Keanu had the perfect Constantine personality.
>I heard it was mainly Takeshi's story that was more in depth.
correct. that's mostly what's improved with the jap cut along with the different score.
>Am I the only one who liked Johnny Mnemonic in the western version? It just gives me this peculiar 90's industrial feel,
oh i love the aesthetics too but the japanese cut improves on it significantly while retaining everything that was good about the western cut.
A very underrated movie overall. Might be his best I think.
this
Is it underrated ?
Bram Stoker’s Dracula
Underrated post
Hope he does another PKDkino one day.
yes, you can
i don't even remember what it ripped off of, but i do remember it was a thinly veiled remake of something
ROB ZOMBIE'S DRAGULA (1992)
His role in neon demon is small but great
speed, bill and ted 1 and 2, point break, dracula
fuck I forgot about this film. really enjoyed though
Jon Wick 3 sucked for me god that movie was awful
Probably the hundred other 47 Ronin movies and Kabuki plays
>Constantine
>And...
oh, constantine. damn, that movie hurts. so much wasted potential. honestly, though, he was miscast there. keanu plays cool-as-a-cucumber heroes. constantine's more of a hardboiled antihero type with a lot of baggage. ideally would've been someone with some gravitas, with a little bit of tragedy to them.
>wasn't he painfully bad in Dracula?
everyone was painfully bad in dracula. even anthony hopkins and goddamn gary oldman were chewing scenery in that one. it's one of those "kind of amazing just for how ridiculous it is" flicks, and it's certainly serviceable for B-Movie Horror Night, but no it's not a good movie.
>Do not watch the bad batch.
eh, it was memorable for the ultraviolence if nothing else. probably only the 5th or 6th worst post-apocalypse flick I've seen the past few years.
you are not
>i don't even remember what it ripped off of, but i do remember it was a thinly veiled remake of something
>oh by the way, did you hear about this new movie Macbeth? I can't put my finger on it, but it feels familiar
>probably a ripoff of some cool original flick from the 80s
nobody gonna say it?
My Own Private Idaho
Scanner Darkly
Speed
Point Break
>muh rule of thirds
boring cinematography.
cringe
based
>knock knock is an example of a good Keanu movie
Aside from being painfully meh his acting in it is laughable.
What was that one recently with Winona Ryder. I bet that was comfy. Probably generic as shit but comfy
Even Cowgirls Get the Blues
Fight me!
Yeah but for Keanu movies it's just under citizen kane
>his acting in it is laughable
no it's very serious business
A scanner darkly is kino as hell, criminally underrated
Lol, and they considered that movie a horror movie. The whole thing was a fucking comedy.
It wasn't, but I liked it. The sex scene was cringe, though.
>Street Kings
Holy shit, i completely forgot about that. It was a good movie, a total sleeper hit. And what a fucking cast:
>Forest Whitaker
>Hugh Laurie
>Chris Evans
>Lonnie Lynn
Little Buddha
john wick movies aren't really good, don't fall for it
the first one is enjoyable, watch it and stop there
everything after that is more of the same, rehashed and 10 times more stupid
Constantine is okay. Not because of Keanu but because of supporting characters. Tilda Swinton is awesome.
i haven’t been into vidya for years and i am expecting the worst for 2077 but this brief part with Keanu is unironically so fucking cool. can someone post the boomer edit where he’s offering the viewer a red and black monster energy?
my own private idaho
saddest depiction of unrequited love i've ever seen in a film
THIS
scanner darkly
Point blank is so kino bros. Flea and Anthony Kiedis get REKT in it too...man what a movie
one of the first movies i remeber watching as a kid.
kino as fuck
Quit projecting your dark fantasies and get help or kys before you act on them.
its actually pretty bad.
some action/fight sequences are ok. Keanu carries that shit so hard but these kind of movies also currently dont have any competition since there is no Bruce Willis of the current generation and all the so(y)bois are on cape shit. early to mid 2000s this movie would have flopped hard
Always this. Even at 50 he can't stop himself returning to this role. Unlike a lot of Hollywood dross they're such likeable and optimistic movies. Probably why I like the early Brendan Fraser's too.
What did Yea Forums think of man of tai chi
Fortnite Season 3 Tier 100
Tilda as an archangel and stromare as satan is some of the best character-actor casting ever in a movie of this type. Might be my favorite all time film satan actually (although there's plenty of competition).
>the one flick where he actually plays something other than Ted "Theodore" Logan is the film he made with alex winter right after B&T came out
why does no one give Vigo credit in Th Prophecy ?
I absolutely do, Vigo's on my shortlist. But this isn't a vigo thread, and at the end of the day I think stromare edges him out.
It was definitely GB's in the movie. GB's were considered huge amounts of data back then.
>early to mid 2000s this movie would have flopped hard
True but an early 2000s true dick flick b-movie is a godsend today. Like the average man being a genius in idiocracy.
