Post a detective movie better and more epic than Zodiac.
>spoiler alert: you just can't

I can’t.
Seven
why does whatshisface look like that old "omg im so high all the time" comedian in that pic?
Ending was cool. But overall, it was less epic and intense. Zodiac had that intense feel he's going to figure it out moments all throughout the movie. Maybe because it was based on real events. That's just my opinion.
Prisoners
That was easy...
NEXT!
the girl with the dragon tatoo
They're about to catch the Zodiac with DNA genealogy
Google it
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
so Gyllenhaal was the Zodiac right?
Sherlock Holmes and the pearl of death
... what are you talking about? Think before you post.
yes, maggie gyllenhaal
Angel heart
It can't be done, Fincher's Zodiac (DC version) is the best movie of its type and is truly his best work by far.
Seven was intense, but it just boils down to being a really good thriller when Zodiac is just much more and has Fincher at his best as far as directing goes. Every scene in it is fucking fantastic.
They aren't, no new updates or anything on the official side.
Easy.
this should have been first post
Zodiac is better though.
>Good detective movie
>Case doesn't get solved
doubt
>the good guys need to win in order to be a good movie
brainlet.
the absolute state of you.
They don't have to win, but the whole point of having a problem is seeing it eventually gets solved
Sometimes you just let the mystery be user
This.
but not every cop solves the case so it's kinda a realistic depiction of police work
memories of murder is based on real killings in south korea that were never solved
this
I don't get the love for zodiac, it's pretty generic and lazy script and Fincher only does the minimum with it. I hate the character gets too involved with a case and it affects his personal relationship trope.
But the best part is following along, trying to solve it yourself and then seeing if you were right
>trope
>it's fucking real life
You're a retard.
this mystery was not actually that good, and Clarice found the guy accidentally.
Can you elaborate or is the height of your intellect spouting broad statements that amount to nothing?
Also what was the point of the scene with Gyllenhal in that dude's basement? I really thought they were going somewhere with that scene.
Is Memories of Murder worth watching?
*Blocks your path*
>Post a detective movie better and more epic than Zodiac.
L.A. Confidential
was it hair kino?
That's what makes it so good. You keep talking about it after it's done because there's so many theories, instead of the movie just telling you "here, this is who it is".
this
to all newfags:
this is another Yea Forums meme. Yea Forums claims it's kino, but it's actually shit.
no one reply to that
to all newfags:
this is a shitposter you can tell by his spacing
Lol he does look like benson
shit taste nigger
Yes peak korean kino
I mean she does think mrs. littman might know some stuff about buffallo bill so it's not like she was just going door to door and got lucky
If I can't stand these 3 actors will I like it?
Oh. I remember this movie. I watched specifically because I thought it'd scratch my detective itch.
It's not really inspiring and I don't even remember how it ends.
fresh off the reddit boat, nigger?
post a better performance

if oldboy didn't exist this would be peak overrated just because its from SK
Nah. I've seen it and other of that director's work along with various korean and japanese dramas and american versions of them and various american flicks.
It's fucking good. Not the greatest film of all time but a top choice in the genre and a great piece of filmmaking.
No (probably). I hate ruffalo and downey jr and I don't think this movie is great at all. It's something you rent from blockbuster.
what is your problem. Are you 16 or swedish?
This is a quality post.
Nah, it's not the solution that's what makes life good, it's the journey towards solving it.
idk what you mean by "epic" but I'll say pic related is a better movie.
this, it's the friends we made along the way
Is this any good? I saw it once in college but haven't seen it since
Really great movie. OP BTFO
you're gonna get a lot of responses shitting on johnson but brick was good back then and it holds up now. his one good flick.
Knives out
Watchmen
THANKS
I'm shocked it didn't get more love. No offense to Zodiac, but it was boring. Narc was based
It’s alright. The setting and dialogue are ridiculous but I guess that’s the point. It’s a good neo-noir for today’s standards but it’d never come close to something like Chinatown or The Long Goodbye.
It’s good, but I definitely wouldn’t call it “epic”, as that implies large scale spectacle
It is...then you remember the kids are in highschool and it ruins it honestly.
Health. Beauty. Longevity. Avalon. We're on your side...for life.
Prisoners
this
jack reacher
It's great.
Prisoners
now you see me
The best detective movie is High And Low because they actually do rigorous police work.
All the theories are based upon the inane ramblings of a literal retard. The movie explains what actually happened directly to the viewer, but you people still don’t get it.
There was no zodiac and the only connection between any of the cases was the media coverage.
Seven is intense though. They're both really fucking great movies, but complete opposite.
This. If you didn't catch it one of the victims said "Well hello, beautiful" and then they were shot to death
have sex
Oowwwww there's a long goodbye.
Aaand it happens eveerrrydaaaay.
this movie is terrible, full of stupid tropes
lo fuck off
You get a kick out of that Madison I sent you?
Yes probably top 5 of the the decade
THE BIG SLEEP (1946) is a million times greater than anything Fincher even dreamed of making.
THE BIG SLEEP? SOUNDS LIKE A REAL SNOOZE!
