itt: moments that ruined a 10/10 for you
>the truck in the last chase
>the hitchhiker getting ran over looks stupid
>sloppy cuts
>why the fuck didn't the truck driver just drive away
>leatherface falling looks forced and silly
like the ending where she laughs as she watches him swing the chainsaw around is perfect again but that scene frustrates me, feels incredibly rushed
Itt: moments that ruined a 10/10 for you
The cripple might be the most annoying character ever put in a horror
>top tier ending
>top tier horror kino
>vegan message
its perfect desu
Arnies fake head in T1
>inb4 h-he's a robot he's supposed to look like he's not real!
No, he looks continuously human throughout then like a model it doesnt work. And I watched T1 for the first time about 20 years ago and it looked shit then.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre is the best horror of all time.
>And I watched T1 for the first time about 20 years ago
sure you did zoomy
ok.
>when you find out he stayed in character the whole time they were filming and everyone wanted to fucking kill him by the end.
I have no problem with flaws in practical effects, but have a big problem with flaws in cgi.
is TCM spooky and gory?
zoomer gonna zoom
If you watch it now, having seen more modern horror films it probably won't be as shocking as it was when released. I saw it for the first time a few years ago and was actually kind of surprised how tame it is.
The fuck is wrong with you?
this is possibly the most offensive form of autism I've ever seen on this site. You're annoyed that someone didn't see a movie that came out before they were born?
bs
all actors were just amateurs
but he watched it 20 years ago
Spooky yes,
Gory, no
TCM strongest area is its tension and buildup. It creates an extremely uncomfortable atmosphere rather than purely relying on shock value.
Watch any interview with the actors and they all mention it. Guy annoyed the shit out of the cast with it.
Good bit of puppetry but yeah it looks bad. But later in the movie they have him wear a prosthetic metal eye, why couldn't they have done that here and then cut to the zoomed-in puppet eye movements. The puppet head at least looks a bit better when he's driving the truck.
both this and the chase at the end looks bad desu, but i still think its much better than t2 and the best cameron film
The "If I was king of forest" scene from Wizard Of Oz movie. Over 30 minutes was cut from finished film including elaborate 250 plus all star cast of citizens of Emerald City singing "Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead" after Dorothy kills Wicked Witch and takes her broom, but it Lion singing some shit about what he would do if he wasn't such James Hatfield looking bitch, that 's what they decide to leave in. Bastards.
I love stop-motion animation, though. I loved it in Robocop as well.
