No joke this is my favorite show of all time. It isn't the best in terms of quality, but it'll grow on you and you'll love it in no time. The main character's actor dies in real life, so you're going to have to get used to that in Season 2. Also, watch it like this:
Season 1 > Prequel > Season 2 > Season 3.

The CGI is real bad and campy, but at some point you just stop giving a shit, because you're so invested in the story. At first you think you're just watching a dumb comfy show about gladiators, fighting and naked tits, and then it'll suddenly hit you with the feels. First season finale is absolutely fantastic. The series finale is the greatest conclusion to any TV series.

I only really enjoyed the scenes featuring Cossutius or Ilithyia. Terrible compared to Rome.
