Gladiator was nominated for an academy award, and won, as best picture for that year. I don't think it's at all that bad of a movie, but it did not deserve the award. Hackneyed performances, melodrama, did nothing new with the medium of film, etc... It was meant as a summer blockbuster, and yet was heralded as the best movie of the year. Sure it made a lot of money, but does that mean it's worthy of the highest coveted award in picture making? To put it into perspective, it's as if Endgame would win an award for Best Picture, despite being trashy entertainment for normies.

Why do niggers dislike slavery then?
alright
Did this actually make sense to you when you typed it? That moonshine ain't helpin your punchlines, Cletus
Are you replying to the wrong guy?
I understand that as the target demographic for nig hop you have a low IQ, but there is nothing really complex about what I said. Slavery isn’t soft ass shit.
If that was your intended message, your post needs reconstructing. As it stands, your use of the double negative means 'because slavery was indeed soft ass shit, niggers should therefore like it'.
What was a better picture that year? Gladiator was great, but even if you don't think so, it's only up against movies in the same year. That's why some winners are completely forgettable vs others who barely inched ahead in a sea of competition.
>but does that mean it's worthy of the highest coveted award in picture making?
yes. kys zoombat
But that wasn't how romans fought though? I thought they fought like in the opening of Rome

I liked the Zulu sample used for tribal Eurotrash at the start. The arrogance of that.
