>sympathetic while still being villainous
>great character design and effects
>sincere delivery from a great actor
Because normally you can only pick two of the above.

He's awesome but I still prefer Sheev and Hannibal Lecter.

I feel like Michael keatons vulture was in the same ball park. But yeah, basically no other great comic book villains despite all these comic book movies. Loki is good. Hela was alright. That's pretty much it if I'm being honest. DC keeps Fucking wasting their superior villians

Pretty sure OP only means supervillain in a superhero movie

Alfred Molina was such a perfect pick, even though he's not really like the Doc Ock from the comics I feel like he's a stronger character overall.

>Sheev
Sneed?

aw shit I'm a brainlet

Spider-Man (2002) and Spider-Man 2 (2004) are still the best superhero films of the 21st century.

I'd say the top 5 are:
1) Spider-Man 2
2) Batman Begins
3) The Dark Knight
4) Spider-Man 1
5) Iron Man 1

Hela gets bonus points for making my dick hard.

My 90 year old grandma considers those two to be "beautiful".

based

he was just misunderstood

Zemo from Civil War. He's not really a supervillain though, just a cunt with a cause.

Best scene.

Someone did.

It's funny, I still love TDK but over the years I've come to realize that Batman Begins has a much stronger story and a more sensical plot.

I like that Peter has real flaws in this film to the point of quitting his superhero life to try and live a normal life, I feel like none of them do it these days until they've beaten their final foes.

Heh, guy named Otto Octavius ends up with eight limbs. What are the odds?

>Guy with eight hands? Sounds hot.

He was actually great. Both actors that played Eobard brought gravitas to the scenes they were in.

I'd trade X-Men 2 for Iron Man and mix the order around a bit, but this is largely right.

X-Men 2 is acceptable, I should really rewatch it sometime soon.

your grandma sounds awesome af

I was always curious, why did so man comedians make cameo appearances in these movies?
Were they just bros with the director?

Holy shit, I forgot Lucy Lawless was in this movie.

I really chock it up to Alfred Molina's performance. He was perfect for the role.

Is there anyone else who could pull off a great Doc Ock?
Philip Seymour Hoffman is the only one I can think of.

Whut, *that* Alfred Molina?

What could have saved this movie?

Letting Raimi do what he wanted without studio interference.

Doc Ock from the comics was just a fat autist until Superior when he became a good character

Not letting the studio to meddle into it

It's also the only Nolan Batman that actually takes place in Gotham

he was pretty good, I can see why this scene got left on the cutting room floor though

See the thing about Begins is that it’s the only one that fully embraces being a goddamn Batman movie, while the others go diving into political allegories with mixed results. And memes.

I don’t see how Peter defeating Venom by hanging him from the old tree in his backyard while threatening to “flog away the excess melanin from his filthy race traitor hide” (sic) would improve the movie

Octavius is pure Kino. The first 2 original spiderman films will always be the best created, impossible for nu-disney/marvel to make anything like that again. The soiboys wouldn't even like it, their brain is so fried.

>otto octavious
>german
>hates jews

Raimi wanted a sympathetic villain.

into the spiderverse is far superior to any raimi movie

Because Spider-Man 2 was the last superhero movie to have soul

This though the third has some

fucking kek

Yeah, I can;t decide if it was actually a good character or I just want to worship her ass

Also Matthew Perry was in Spider-Man 2 for like five seconds.

No, he wasn't.

Joker and Thanos.

Hnnnnnnnng

>I feel like Michael keatons vulture was in the same ball park.

Me too. LOVE Spider-man: Homecoming and Vulture was not only perfectly realized but also logical. Keaton killed it!!!FACT!!!

doc ock was so well done in this movie. spiderman 2 is such a fantastic film

add dredd to that and youre a winrar

Keaton as the vulture needed a better film. He is the only thing worth mentioning in Homecoming.
