Can hangovers make you shaky?
When I'm hungover, my muscles - typically my forearms, hands and calves - feel kinda' tight. If I exert force, such as gripping something or crouching those muscles will shake lightly for a while after. Once the hangover is gone, they go to.

I don't get other 'withdrawal' symptoms like sweats, palpitations so i'm sure it's a hangover side-effect.

Give it time friend. When I got dumped last year I was drinking a lot. Hangovers developed to the point where they gave me severe anxiety, crippling dread, a physical sensation of crawling, prickling skin up my arms and neck. On a few occasions I felt I might kill myself because I didn't feel in control of my mind or my senses

How slow do you drink, you pansy? There's a restaurant we go to that if you ask will do pitchers of Guinness. I down at least one with my meal.

I did. I always went 4 or 5 days a week not drinking, no cravings.

Then I cut down, still same odd feeling. Stoppedfor 5 weeks totally, then had a pint of beer and 3 bottles of beer, still same symptom.

I'm aware of kindling, however I've only drank regularly for about 2 years, with the odd break here and there.

If you drink enough of it, yeah. I know people who drink 20-30 a day, where it's their main source of calories.

If you shake, you've become chemically dependent, not just hungover.

They think of us constantly. We never think of them at all.

I'm 38. I can drink 8-9 drinks a day without any effect. 12-15 drinks before I feel seriously hungover.
