OP Here. I guess it'd help the thread to say why.
I'm usually not a sucker for music/action sync, but god damned did it get me this time, especially when Ghidorah triple bites Godzilla. Plus Over the Rainbow remix is nostalgia-comfy.
This is a good one. Trailer made it seem so much bigger than it actually was.

The movie was good too but this trailer is just perfect
It still hurts...
I guess you could call it a
Phantom Pain
Snyder in general, really
For me, it's TLJ
The first leaked trailer for 2014 Godzilla, the Oppenheimer and Ligeti one
Watchmen is one of my favorite movies
Shit, I don't even like drama/romance and this makes me want to see the movie. Am I being rused?
>Watchmen is one of my favorite movies
>then asks whether he will like a Malick movie
>Malick
To be honest I don't know who that is. I'm not big on film, just wanted to bitch about Godzilla disappointment tbqh but trailer appreciation thread is fine too
>this post
I weep for this board
The movie was really good, but that trailer was perfect.
Anyone else think there's way too much dialogue/narration in trailers? A music-only one would be much more effective.
look, its a good movie, but i was let down
I'm just passing through, just took this screenshot of the top 10 posts in the catalog, and that post is what makes you weep for the board?
>What the trailer showed
Terrance Malick meets All-Star Superman
>What we got
SnyderWatchmen meets American Alien
The 2014 godzilla was also like this after the amazing first teaser with the Oppenheimer quote.

It's impressive that this trailer is as good as it is even with all the shitty quips crammed into it.
