I really didn't like Edge. I think the absolute last time someone should have been let back in the game would be at the merge, and there were too many idols too late in the game. Hope it never happens again to be desu

I stopped watching in the third season (I think it was Africa) when they started swapping tribe members when the producers didn't like the way the game was going.
How anyone can take it seriously after that I'll never know.

Why are all the challenges so girly now?

It always cracks me up when people talk about the "integrity of the game". There is no integrity, the producers have have stepped in, changing things on a whim, countless times. Fucking up everything.

For example, the last season I watched (second chance), there was a player named Spencer who made it all the way to the finals, because he was a fan favorite, and the producers kept changing things to keep him around. They even talked to certain players behind the scenes, and convinced them not to vote him off.

i recommend Australian Survivor then. He IS in a season. Sorry I had to spoil that much, but it's a great show too if you didn't see it yet.

But at the time there was integrity. Seasons 1 and 2 were a phenomenon and they were fun to watch. With season 3 those old rules were being changed on the fly. I liked the idea of those assholes winning as opposed to the producers fucking around and getting them eliminated. That would be like if Jeopardy started changing the rules to get that guy who recently won a bunch of money off the show.

They talk to people "behind the scenes" it's called a confessional. But as far as we know it's the players words against the producers' then. What do they mean "talked to and convinced"? You can only do that by making good points. I bet it's overblown lies.

Redemption island (S22) and One World (S24) are shit. The rest of them range from okay to pretty damn good.

You'd probably love season 28 for Tony. It's my favourite season. South African Survivor S6 for Tom and Pearl Islands for Johnny Fairplay are also great
