To anyone thinking of watching this movie, don't. This move is a pile of shit that always gets shilled here for some reason.

This sequence with Matthew's photographs was the best part of the whole thing.

Mungo...why mungo?

>dude jumpscares are based!

for the majority of horror movies I can quite easily draw a line between being scared for the sake of entertainment and actually having any lingering fear afterwards. most horror movies it's actually fun to be scared because it makes the experience more enjoyable. you suspend disbelief etc. this is completely different. there is something so viscerally terrifying about this that it feels completely genuine. no matter how many times I watch this or look at this image it never goes away. there's no ability to just go "haha it's just a stupid movie". the fear is real fear

>Today there only a few types of horror made today
Whoever made this meme didn't graduate high school it would appear, no wonder they have shit taste in horror
>Hates atmospheric kino
>Probably loves Friday the 13th and Halloween
Unironically kys

the haunting of hill house ep 8 got me good. im not gonna blow the series as being amazing but watching it one or two eps at a time is definitely the way to go otherwise youd probably get used to it.

>implying it isn’t the part where the mom sees the neighbor in her room

i thought it was the ghost manifesting a picture of the neighbor at first

the show as a whole wasn't terrible. i liked that every now and again there was a ghost just chillin in the background, mid day

I really want to watch this again but I also value my sleep

the floating tall man was creepy at first too

but you just made a comment

Going by this chart I have to ask is there literally any horror film that you don't thing is shit made in the last decade?

they added the new evil dead in there, which is kino btw, so the whole list is just bait. everything about the new evil dead reeks of old school horror.

this movie was bad, one of the worst horror movies i've ever seen.

it's a very old bait image, welcome to your first week on Yea Forums!

Why does Australia make so many bleak, depressing films? Are they the Russia of the Southern hemisphere?

Attached: happiness.png (728x1032, 1.61M)

>thinks a year on the internet isn't beyond antiquated

The Southern Hemisphere is bleak in general. Remember the other two continents in that hemisphere.

>atmospheric kino
People make fun of you behind your back
