There’s a lot of action and political drama to balance out the romance but as the series goes on it gradually starts to focus more on the romance at the expense of everything else.
First season is great
Second season is okay
Third season is great until around the halfway point and then gets really boring really quick
I didn’t bother watching the fourth but it annoys me how the two leads are supposed to be in their late 50s/early 60s by this point in the story but their actors are both 39 and don’t bother with any ageing makeup.
Also probably has the most disturbing rape sequence ever broadcast on television

My gf introduced me to it.I thought it will be trashy romance shit but its toned down,only too long sex scenes.Characters are likeable maybe except main actress.Stuff going on isnt boring either.They change setting often but last season which takes place in USA comparing to previous ones is really medicore
