How much would Yea Forums have shit up the walls over this casting choice back then?

I really don't like thinking about that because it's stupid to do so. That said, Keaton will always be the best Batman.

>Tim Burton
>Keaton
Just fuck my shit up senpai, this is the worst timeline.

Who else was out at the time that could've gotten away with it? How old was Tom Cruise? He'd have made a decent young bruce.

Bill Murray was apparently offered the roll. Not even joking.

>roll / role

lmao I'm high as fuck

That'd've been awful. Any word on who's going to be the villains in the new one?
Kevin Conroy

Affleck was the best, nostalgiafags only pick Keaton because he was the first movie Batman.

>Any word on who's going to be the villains in the new one?

Penguin is due for a new take.

Its probably more to do with the fact thats a really entertaining movie with an artistic vision rather than being fueled by a focus group of sheckle-counters.

Reminder Burton's batman started it all and no executive thought it was a good idea

Ironic because 4channel is full of fags rubbing other men's rhubarbs.

Still the best Joker.

Most of the best movies are born out of choas.

I honestly believe thats what's wrong with Hollywood these days - movie-making is such a well-oiled conveyer belt these days.

Hubba Hubba Hubba...

Best Batmobile too. Fight me.

Even as a kid I disliked how batman couldn't move his head in this costume. But really it's up there with Superman 78 as far as cape flicks go
Really too bad Disney ruined the genre where now everyone has to compete with its artless low effort factorylike trash

Yes.

Genuine question to DC comicfags; was Batman always as gadget-centric or was it the 1989 movie which influenced the comic?

Id like to see some of the lesser known guys. Like Clayface or Matbat. The madhatter would be pretty interesting.
The fuck was that shiney metal brick from the bale movies?
Yea im sick of these cookie cutter movies too. There was a time where thered be at least three to four years between franchise movies. Weve had more star wars in the last three or so years then the first 2 decades after its creation. Saturating the market with liquid derivative shit.

Two words young son
>utility
>belt

kek i had this toy when i was a kid

fucking lost the ammo it was shooting i was so mad

Noted. I am schooled.

Burton's Batman films always had something artistic in them. I mean they weren't just shameless cash grabs trying to make quick bucks. Burton actually had a goal to make good movies and not just box office hits that target lowest common denominator.

Burton's Gotham was kino

Best batman, but not out of merit, but lack of competition.

Yep. Too bad anything else wasn't.
Burton should have been a stage artist, not a director.

It was great in 89. Returns just felt small, no skyline, poor crowd shots, everything looked like it was a soundstage. I'm sure they cut the budget, but I can't get over it.

kinda annoyed how trapped on a sound stage it felt. Though it really couldn't helped at the time I suppose .
