To me, Godzilla was a family affair. My mom raised me with all of the Godzilla movies because she grew up with them. She also introduced me to some Gamera. One of the CDs I used to listen to when I was a kid was a compilation of a bunch of orchestrated godzilla themes. Godzilla was basically my childhood and I have a lot of fond memories. I'm an adult now, but whenever a new godzilla movie releases I visit my mom to go watch it with her. We got to see Shin Godzilla screened in a theater and it was just absolutely phenomenal. We were both pleasantly surprised by KotM as well.
