So... the kid was guilty, right?
So... the kid was guilty, right?
dunno just make up your own plot lmao
there was enough reasonable doubt so no.
Flagrant obstruction of justice
how so?
A juror can't perform their own investigation. There was no opportunity for the prosecution to rebut.
Yes.
Juror #8 was the killer.
I can't remember, did they leave at some point and the juror picked up the knife at some point, or did he already have it on him from the start? If the former then I agree
Who was the GOAT man? The egghead was the most level-headed (including Fonda's character). The main piece of evidence he kept bringing up, forgetting the film names, was pretty damning. There's a big difference between forgetting a film you saw three nights ago that you weren't at the theater for versus not remembering either film you saw an hour before.
The worst was the old man, who had his whole speech about fifteen minutes of fame while trying to play psychoanalyst and do the same thing.
He went to the boy's neighbourhood and purchased the knife from a nearby pawn shop while they were taking a break during the trial. When I first watched, I thought he coincidentally had the same pocket knife, which would have been a better twist. It would have also given him better motivation to be suspicious of the whole evidence from the start.
>taking a break during the trial
ah ok, that's retarded, jurors aren't allowed to leave to go out on their own during a trial.
I don't remember. It's been so long since I watched the movie. I barely remember anything of the movie.
GOAT was red-pilled racist, WOAT was Yankees fan
Yeah he looked Italian or Jewish.
If he didn't do it he would have done something else anyway.
I don't know the details of mutt justice. Isn't bringing new evidence once the jury is already secluded an automatic mistrial?
WHO'S GONNA PAY FOR THE FUCKING TABLE?
choose your Juror-bando
Juror 4 was objectively the best, he took his role seriously and wasn't moved until every pieces of evidence were touched by a reasonable doubt.
With 11 and 8 he's the one who understands the best his role, and the less wavered by feeling.
What? So jurors are just held captive and not allowed to go home and see their families for weeks on end?
pretty much yes, while the trial is on they are not allowed to contact the outside world. Might be different depending on the severity of the crime but thats why jurors are always pout into hotels or something and have to stay there until they come to a decision. That's why jurors get pissed off when its not unanimous because they want to go home
Unless you ask the judge and can prove it was recently discovered, also you have to allow the opposing council to inspect it too. This is all before it can be officially introduced.
Yeah. 12 Angry Men is a lesson in how the justice system is fucked. Kid obviously did it, but 'can't put a kid on the electric chair' or other fucked reasonings.

Based.
This
It makes it look like a Ocean's Twelve rip-off, which was probably on purpose.
He was actually God. No memes.
The situation in the film would have resulted in a mistrial.
I forget if there were differences in the book.
