Yes, but not at her peak. The real problem with Melancholia was that the physics of the movie were ludicrous. The idea that the planet would make a near pass by earth then impact it on the 2nd pass is dumb. Just the planet entering the solar system so close to earth would peturb the planet out of its normal orbit.
