Not a bad list, all things considered. But Threads is dogshit anti-nuclear propaganda. It's a terrible film in nearly every single respect. It also betrays the utter contempt the elites in Britain had/have for their population, who they view as irredeemable plebes that a handful of nukes would manage to bring literally back to the stone age. If we must have nuke kino, then I'm afraid Dr Strangelove is the only good choice (no, that other adaptation of the novel, Fail Safe, is absolute crap).
