it wasnt that bad desu. They finally pulled no restritions on the fighting and had a decent amount of action in it, which of course repeated old stuff but still, it didnt leave you blue balled IMO yes character stuff is retarded, charles "bring the to location X" avier was annoying, magneto just fanservice, but still, i liked it for the action

This movie was far from great but I thought it was better than Venom,yet trash like venom makes almost a billion at the box office, so weird. I guess Tom Hardy can make any movie make money.

Also, there is some things this movie gets right. First, the tone and music really stands out and feel refreshing in a world of mcu flicks. What I mean it doesn't undercut the dramatic moments with a quip, And it does this while keeping the action very comic booky. Like, did this movie do character and plot conflict better than, let's say, Captain marvel and Black panther, probably not, but the bit of action that was in this flick was better than Captain Marvel and Black Panther action spots. When the action got going with the super powers, it felt like real comic book shit.

Mcu flicks so sterile when it comes to comicbook action, that's why the fight between Doctor Strange and Thanos stood out so much when infinity war came out. Honestly, this movie made me wish Synder's take on capeshit never got canned, I miss the stylized capeshit that does shit out a 10000 quips after every dramatic beat in the movie. All Synder needed was better scripts.

-X-Men is a tired franchise with more bad flicks than good at this point

Dark Phoenix only worked after years of development over dozens of monthly comics. They had Phoenix before Dark Phoenix. You would have needed to plan it out over multiple films. The films barely connect together as it is. Fox has been so slap dash with these films, nothing makes sense. The X-men continuity in comics took decades and thousands of comics to get to become the mess it is today. Fox managed to do it with only a handful of films.

I just watched it. It's not particularly bad, about as bad as the rest of the Xmen universe. But yeah, the lack of Jackman, being released after marvel busted their big nut, the fact that they've already tried Phoenix onscreen all kind of hurt the movies chances.
20 years and still not one good xmen movie. No fully suited xmen squad. No classic lineup. No wolvie going berserk on some fucking sentinels.

I hope Disney is actually running an ops to spam this shit into the ground. The sooner Fox Men dies off, the better.

TSLOP is actually a really good movie. I was geniunely impressed. I haven't paid attention to X-Men at all because their movies are too boring, plot heavy and edgy

I went to the watch this at a 700 seater cinema in London on Saturday, and not even joking there were fewer than 20 people in there. The film was trash but the negative reviews seemed to have had a big impact on this one, especially with the fact there has already been one big Marvel release this year.

It had some really good action scenes but I'm still pretty chapped about the last few xmen movies being about Mystique. It was also disappointing to somehow fuck up wolverine vs sentinels.
