Maybe the real murderer was the friends we made along the way.

Sneed

Is was us the viewers.

op you fuckin dumbo let me explain it to you

through the whole movie they hunted freaks, turns out the murderer was completly normal looking and behaving. they did a shit job and ruined many peoples lives through it

There was no murderer and no muder. It was a hoax and a witchhunt.

God.
The actor wasn’t looking at us but the camera which is the representation of god in this case because their world (the movie) exists because of the camera.

what flick... at least tell the title

Is he staring into the sun or something?

AT THE END HE ASKS THE GIRL HOW DID THE KILLER LOOK
THE GIRL SAYS "NORMAL"
THEN HE LOOKS STRAIGHT AT THE CAMERA, BOTH AT VIEWER AND THE ACTUAL REAL LIFE KILLER WATCHING THE MOVIE
IT'S ONE OF THE MOST EFFECTIVE FOURTH WALL BREAKS IN CINEMA HISTORY

So after watching the movie you become the killer?

memories of murder
he was never caught
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hwaseong_serial_murders

IT'S ABOUT THE FACT THAT SERIAL KILLERS DON'T LOOK LIKE DEFORMED UGLY EVIL MONSTERS, MOST OF THE TIME THEY LOOK AS NORMAL AS ANY OTHER PERSON
AND YES YOU MIGHT ASWELL BE ONE FAGGOT, I'M CALLING A SWAT TEAM ON YOU AS WE SPEAK

It's kinda implied it was that young guy, whose DNA didn't match for some reason.

You dumb motherfucker
He's watching the killer who probably went to the theater and watched the movie

yeah
it's no doubt that guy but because of a single DNA test they excluded him as a suspect

kek'd

why would a killer watch this movie

Because it's literally about him?
You're aware that the film is about a real actual case?

Not just any killer. The killer this movie is about, who was never found.

This was a shit movie. Yea Forums vastly overrates this movie. You tricked me into watching it and lead me to believe that it would be good. Infact it was ass and my gf was very disappointed in my choice.

What did her boyfriend think about it?

This movie isn't good at all.
Why do you people act like its a good movie? You tricked me. The plot is shit
It was obvious from fucking early on that if the retard didn't commit the murders , he must have witnessed one. Why did it take the detectives like 2 months and a "genius revelation" in order to think of this? Fucking stupid.
And then the retard witness gets run over before he can identify the suspect? Fuckoff. such hackneyed , shitty writing.
And what , the police secretary just happened to notice that the same song was played on the radio each of the days of the murder? weak.
And what the fuck was the point of the urban legend about the murderer living in the highschool outhouse? So the detective investigates the highschool on a hunch, then just so happens to be told by a student that she saw a woman crying in a house on the hill, then the detective decides to interview the crying woman and it turns out she's a victim of the same murderer who was let go? What the fuck is that convenient writing?
It's such ass.

prime example of a plot point mental midget

>bad writing is a good thing
>I'm very smart because I like bad writing.
>high IQ people like me care more about pretty lighting and other intelligent things than writing.

me

You're aware that the vast majority of the story is taken from the actual case? The murders, the found bodily fluids, the underwear baiting.
And if you watched any other Korean film at all you would be aware that showing the total incompetence of their police force is the main point of a whole lot of them.

The case in real life was handled as poorly as it was in the film.

He was sitting in the audience at the movie threatre.

The poster is also breaking the fourth wall, the detectives are asking the viewer if they know.

God

damn, how is korean cinema so KINO

I liked the part where they jump kicked their suspects

same. there are like 5 solid WWE tier dropkicks in the movie.

i liked the part where boot got a rusty nail to the leg and did the most korean shit ive seen in my life

I don't get it, who was the murderer?

>tfw youre an ugly deformed incel who actually looks like a deranged killer and rapist
kinda ruined the whole point for me

good news: that means you're not the murderer.

just an adult virgin.

It'd be even funnier if the real killer was actually ugly as fuck, went to see this movie, saw the final scene, and started cackling wildly before going home to shitpost on Yea Forums and call others incels.

섹스하다

no idea but Steven Yeun can murder my bussy

Hahahaha, as if you fucking incel.

That was actually one of the reasons why I couldn't really take this movie seriously. The assistant cop guy is just too goofy and there is a lot of plot convenience like said.
It's still an okay 6-7/10 movie but not amazing.

WHY DON'T YOU LIKE ASIAN MOVIE YOU MUST BE WHITE ROASTIE

It was the cop from out of the city he kept misleading them

So this is Korean ''''''''''''''kino'''''''''''''''''''''

How would the real killer know? There's not a single indication the movie is based on a real life case (let alone his case) unless you watch it and I don't think he had a fast enough internet connection or even interest to check Imdb. Who knows he probably watched the Ang Lee Hulk instead.

Killers do that for attention

Attached: 1403049336228.png (202x184, 9K)

this so much, how the fuck would a serial killer know that a film about his extremely popular case was made in his own country hmmmm thinken so hard right now

Fpbp

if they have his dna, couldn't they use one of these new family tree dna techniques ? they've caught a bunch of long time serial killer in the US with it recently

Brought to you by the CinemaSins school of film criticism.

The real murderer was the memories we made along the way.

It was him. He was gloating and daring you to realise.

bullshit. show proof that the points I complain about and point out as shit writing actually happened.. It's a gay dramatisation inspired by a real murder case with a shitload of hammy , retarded writing forced in because if it was just how the case proceeded it would be too dry.

The only thing about the real life case that's the same is that the prime suspect got off because the DNA didn't match and they never caught and sentenced anyone.

basteh

what's the problem?

after watching this movie i realized that this is the korean equivalent of a handshake

this movie is bad. I wish we had regular threads about memoir of a murderer or the wailing or the chaser instead.

*ahem*

Attached: The Age Of Shadows 2016.jpg (1282x534, 66K)

the chaser is a genuinely horrible movie

why do you think so

korean kino king

I went to watch some thriller but I get top comedy.
time to rewatch I guess

to be honest if I was in a similar situation at high ground I would do the same drop kick

I watched it too long ago and couldn't even finish it so I'm not going to argue about it, but my impression was it wasn't particularly interesting in terms of dialogue, action, plot, or anything. It was just torture porn with everything that can go wrong will go wrong, the protagonists make all the bad choices and the murderers gets away in ways that make you want to hit your head on the wall. Maybe situations like that do happen in real life but I don't particularly want to watch it

I pity your existence if you think only le happy ending movies are good movies.

it's nihilist in a way that's kind of pointless and unedifying.

the ending feels like a punchline that didn't need 2 hours to get to. you feel nothing for the characters themselves outside of the violence.

Depends on if they are organized or unorganized generally, many serial killers look like crazy as fuck serial killers

its an amazing movie
and i hate asian movies

I can appreciate movies without a good ending like Hanabi or without good willed characters like Bronson, but I need something to catch my interest. This guy puts it better than I do
