Does anyone else here watch this? If so, what did you think of the new episode, if you don't watch it you should.

I guess it's just me
Kino
Quantum vs Blacksmith was crazy
Tombstone vs Lockjaw was over surprisingly fast
Do you think that Quantum should've been Disqualified?
>battlebots is superior to robot wars
It could go either way
Quantum could get DQed for not letting go after 30 seconds, Blacksmith could get DQed for entangling their opponent
I think the rules say you have to let go after 30 seconds if you're able so I think they were in the clear
It outlasted it
Robot Wars has a cool arena and I love the house bots but there are easily 20 Battlebots that would wipe the floor with anything in Robot Wars
Also, this motherfucker won't die
the original run of battlebots was lit fire emoji
the new stuff is just fascinating. i havent watched much of it though. guess i will now
Can he one last giant nut boys?
Some good newer fights to watch on youtube:
- Blacksmith vs Minotaur
- Beta vs Tombstone
- Complete Control vs Bombshell
- Hypershock vs Warrior Clan
- Warhead vs Complete Control
- Lockjaw vs Yeti
Are the episodes still 70% cringy interviews and 30% robots fighting?
I wouldn't bet on it especially against all the new vertical spinners, I'm more excited to see how they do with Hydra and Falcon
By the way, the first two seasons are on ABC, the rest are on discovery
No they got rid of all of the cringe when they moved to ABC and now it's even better on Discovery Channel
We are getting SOW VS HUGE
I AM SO FUCKING HYPED!
Also Cobalt could legitimately take out Biteforce
RW had Phillipa though
I haven't really seen much of Robot Wars except for the actual fights
SOW vs HUGE is going to be insane, it could be a very short fight
I think the key to fighting Bite Force is to get under it, it relies a lot on being really stable and having a low center of gravity so you should avoid going weapon on weapon or having a pushing match
Now the question is
Will we see Bite Force vs Tombstone?
It's a likely scenario, but there are so many new or improved bots this season that I'd rather see some different matchups than that
I wanna see Gigabyte vs Captain shrederator, you?
Me and my dad watch it. We bet on which bot will win. Loser has to take a shot. Was good seeing Tombstone back on top.
The king shall rise again
Yes, If your bot can't release then it is cheating. That's why I was surprised Kraken was able to release.
I thought the rules said that if it could release but didn't it would be a DQ? Also, the armor Blacksmith put on top could've been the reason why they got stuck together
Is this retard coming back?
We are getting it vs S.O.W, so yes
Can someone clarify for me why those little faggy bots are allowed?
you mean minibots? They are allowed because the main bot takes up the majority of the weight of the entry. This leaves the builders with extra weight to make bots that could be used to distract the oponent.
If you are talking about cluster bots, then the same reason above but the difference is one bot might be the same or a little heaver than the other. same if it more than 2 bots
I want to see this motherfucker stabilized
I just want to see it fight SOMETHING
The rules say you have to *try* to let go of it after 30 seconds and if you can't then they have to stop the match to separate the bots
You're sacrificing weight on your main bot by making little ones. That's extra oomph on a spinner blade. Basically they allow it because you're gimping yourself. And because its hilarious when a bot like Tombstone hits them and they explode, or get launched flying into the battle box wall.
They should have weapons tests in the actual battlebox where the bots can shred wooden pallets or empty propane tanks and stuff on camera just for fun
That is exactly what happened. so why are people upset?
They had something like that in the new episode
People are upset because if Quantum was able to release Blacksmith but didn't then it would have been a DQ.
However, it was stuck so deep into the armor that they couldn't get the tooth out even with a hydraulic press so there's nothing Quantum could do about it.
Nightmare destroying one of Warrior Clan's minibots was amazing, one second it was there and then an explosion and a ton of shrapnel
The one Quantum guy sounded like a real cocksuck when they interviewed him about it.
At least a watermelon
>It's not our problem
I guess it's good that someone else is acting like the bad guy instead of just Ray now, he's too nice IRL
>Not waiting for the cut of the battles only so you don't have to watch filler
As I recall it was to close to mini propane tank inside blacksmith.
I was surprised at the ruling myself. It is essentially a grab with none of the downsides of a grab. All you have to do is Pierce the armor and get it stuck, it will then go to the judges and you win. I was surprised they blamed blacksmith for having to good armor rather than quantum having a broken weapon.
What was the match that fucked up the roof from the last episode.
Filler was great this episode though, the new interviewer is really good
I want to see it hit a max speed full body spinner bot.
I'd like to see it go up against Gigabyte
I still love that their spinner is shaped like Australia
Oh so it was shaped like something, I just thought it was just a oddly shaped spinner
Why didn't the snake light that frog on fire, he knew it was flammable and even said so in the pre fight. How come he only lit it on fire after the buzzer
