Does your thing really

>Does your thing really
stand for hope?
>Yes. It does.
>But it looks like an "S".
>Yes, it's meant to. It's meant to wind, like a river.. It comes and goes.

>A man I knew, used to say... that hope is like a car keys. Easy to lose, but if you dig around..

He is an alien, after all.

How is it that we have CGI technology to create movies like Avatar but apparently not enough to convincingly remove a man’s mustache?

>DC writing
by the guy that put the Avengers on the map

its easier if the entire scene is cg

>The human race is like horses, Clark. Let em drown
Pa Kent's force ghost was one of the most batshit scenes Snyder has ever directed.

Why couldn't superman just have a mustache?

Do you think Cavill has ever seen this scene? Strikes me as the kind of guy who doesn't care what roles he gets and never watches his movies. I assume he doesn't give a shit.

>Do you think Cavill has ever seen this scene?
Oh he cares about Superman more than you think, except that WB basically always fuck with the character to the point of destroying it. So we are back to a new cycle of development limbo that will probably result in a rebooted DCEU. Superman curse is real, except it has affected all DC heroes.

Why is WB canning all the actors that actually care about their characters?

Reread that. Why would they be against actors who care about their characters? Because they intend to do dumb shit with those characters in the future.

So basically Warner is creatively bankrupt and doesn't care about honoring the source material?

Convincing face CGI is the hardest thing to get right. There are so many muscles that move, pores that stretch and contract. Light catches and illuminates parts of the face and not others.
It's also time consuming and these were pick up shots so it was most likely rushed as hell

They really could have used some AI face-swapping tech for this one. Too bad they were just a couple years too early.

You mean like this? youtube.com/watch?v=bPhUhypV27w

It isn't necessarily even that there's more detail in the face than elsewhere, just that we're really good at telling when faces are off.
We have a separate area of the brain just for faces.

And that's news?

Whedon sorta lost the plot. I don't know what the fuck happened to him during Ultron. Avengers 1's dialogue wasn't this bad.

It's not news but it's still depressing to think about.

You mean Whedon writing and have sex

>Awkward dialogue
>Obvious he's not really talking to anyone
>Close-up of the non-mustache
>Completely unnecessary scene
In fact, all the scenes where the CGI mustache is glaringly obvious are unnecessary. Who OK'd that?

Yeah, this too. Almost goes without saying

Too based, people would riot.

people who thought getting the Avengers director would "fix" Snyder's movie and make 1.5 billion dollars

I didn't notice anything wrong when I saw the movie, but I watched it on a tiny screen on a plane and I was drunk
Fun movie though
