People always knew.

That always bothered me too. We find out at the end of the movie we never actually knew the real Moody - despite spending the entire movie growing to like the fake one.
But then the next time we see him he doesn't get a second chance to introduce his real self, he just keeps on acting exactly the same as the imposter did
So whats the fucking point? All the feelings we had about the fake version carried through to the real one as though they were the same character.
