It's definitely weird when you're watching some C-grade show in its dwindling seasons and even the actors playing minor characters have clearly had a lot of plastic surgery.
If you were watching a movie about a futuristic dystopia where everyone had surgery that forced them to be perfect - like the Twilight Zone episode "Eye of the Beholder" - you would be disgusted. But, something like this already exists. To work and survive and exist in Hollywood you now have to have a specific look, and it's a look that unfortunately does not occur in nature.
