shit and so are the rest of them

Probably the worst Halloween. Halloween II has the best atmosphere imo, it's just so dark and mildly gritty. That post disco/pre 80s feel has the best era of horror. It's creepy without trying.

H4 is the most comfy though, had a big crush on Danielle Harris when I was a kid.

I don’t know why they didn’t bring her back to play Laurie’s daughter in the 2018 movie

My favorite Halloween film that isn't directed byRob Zombie

Rob Zombie’s Halloween sucked! Zombie: Yes, let’s make The Shape some trailer trash redneck and have my whore wife play his mommy

Zombie films are trash kys

Halloween 5 was the worst. Should have gone with Jamie and Michael being team killers.

I think they realized how stupid that’d be

I thought Loomis screaming like a maniac and a trench coat and hat wearing Michael walking off into the distance was so weird and zany that I actually liked the ending.
Besides that I thought it was a piece of shit.
Because they probably didn't want any actors back from the Zombie ones.

As bad as this is, it had good atmosphere and Donald Pleasance. Resurrection is the worst of all time.

There's only ever been one (1) GREAT Halloween movie, and it's the first one.

I can understand hating them if you're a fan of the original, but since I don't give two shits about the original Halloween, I also don't care about Zombie mixing things up and doing his own thing. Only Carpenter fanboys shit on them, everyone else is fine with them

Second worst Halloween, next to Ressurection.

The Producer's cut is more lucid than the Theatrical cut and holds together a bit better... but it still isn't a good movie.

Zombie could never create the atmosphere Carpenter did. Because Zombie is a hack direct with zero nuance

It had nothing new to say, show, or offer in general. I'm still wondering why it was made.

Zombie makes drive-in exploitation movies and he's good at it. It's not for you and that's fine. Not every film needs "atmosphere" or "nuance."

Atmosphere is what Halloween is all about, you clown!

I have no problem with cheap, trashy slasher movies. But don’t turn Myers into Jason

>Atmosphere is what Halloween is all about, you clown!
The difference being that I'm not a Halloween fanboy like you. Like I give a shit what the series "is all about" lmao. Elm Street and Friday the 13th were way better 80s slasher series

Busta Rhymes made some amazing atmosphere

jason > michael

Fucking this 1000x

>producers cut
Wat

Zombie's Halloween 2 is the most CEREBRAL entry in the franchise. It's also top-5 easy, top-3 probably.

you sayin you didnt like how every single character was white trash with the exact same personality and exact same kind of dialogue and people calling other people "dildo fuck" isn't what you long for in your halloween movie?

literally everything sucked after the original.yes even 2 because it was pointless and soulless and ruined the first one's ending, yes even 3 because it was a bad movie and rob zombie's trash is not good just because fa/tv/irgins are contrarian. this along with nightmare on elm street should be 1 film and thats it

Worst Halloween goes to the 2018 one, absolute nigger dogshit. Also, the 2007 remake was good imo, felt like a proper modern gory remake. the squeal to the 2007 one was shit though.

Much like Alien 3 despite what redditors will claim more footage doesn't fix an inherently flawed movie.

No.

I did love however how Laurie was being held by ghosts in the ending of Halloween II

scout taylor compton in the first one looked a lot like an old ex of mine who ended up ballooning. scout herself started going to shit pretty quickly after that so i guess they have the same affliction.

>There's only ever been one (1) GREAT Halloween movie, and it's the first one.
Halloween 3: Season of the Witch was kino as fuck.

It's good, not great. People give it too much praise just to be different.

it's my favorite one because for all its faults, it scratches my death-cult-horror and the-whole-town-is-in-on-it itches

the new sequel is the worst halloween obviously, at least resurrection wasnt about strong women defeating evil/dumb/perverted white men.

Wow, i guess the movie went way over your head.

All the prep work and alienating her family and she still couldn’t kill Myers
