When Bernie disn’t get nominated, instead of shifting her support, and coming out in strong support of Hillary, Sarandon, basically said she was sick of the Democrats and possibly that Bernie has been cheated.
Because of this, Sarandon was seen as a traitor to the Democratic Party and their policies, rather than as a Democrat who had simply mistakenly backed the wrong candidate.
Since the fix was in for Hillary from the beginning, Sarandon was obviously out of the loop, or she and Tim Robbins belonged to a slightly different political faction in the Democratic Party, than yhe Clinton faction.
Whatever the case, unlike Sarah Silverman, Who also supported Bernie, Sarandon didn’t suck it up l, and come out in support of Hillary, so she wound up on the Hollywood power players black list.
