why did drive-ins die out?
Why did drive-ins die out?

Because the white population is decreasing
Mostly because they can't be open year round, it was difficult to find a use for a large bit of vacant land in the winter.
too expensive to maintain
Yep. We sure are.
And that's a good thing.
The sound and color was shit.
>tfw there's a drive in near me
pretty kino on a nice summer night, but sucks when there's mosquitoes
Imagine going to a drive in movie to have filthy Mexican families and niggers running around causing havoc while trying to enjoy kino. Pic related a perfect life
>going for the film
>we
das racis
wypipo alla lyk
America use to be so beautiful
Pic works user!
What do you mean by that? I thought you heard it through your own cars speakers transmitted by radio signal
imagine going to a drive in today
would be 100% nogs and spics smoking weed and getting into gang fights
>would be 100% nogs and spics smoking weed and getting into gang fights
Most drive ins are far from the city.
Because you can only show movies at night
Why the music comes from your radio just roll the windows up?
this
also thered be at least 30 cars all blasting ear shattering nigger music at insane volumes all at once
Amen
*Chugs corn syrup juice*
such a beautiful commercial
because that defeats the purpose, plus in the summer the car gets hot, or you waste gas running the AC
Because cars got ugly
i went to the lake the other day and it was chock full of spics. Everybody looked like frodo baggins fucked a baked potato. There was trash everywhere and the water was warm from the pee.
Jesus, only Americans could concoct such a colossal waste of space, fuel, road capacity, combined car wear. And for what? To put finger into vagina of some Stasey while looking at a shitty screen combined with your car's poor stereo.
That sucks ass
>To put finger into vagina of some Stasey while looking at a shitty screen combined with your car's poor stereo.
The american dream really.
don't knock it till you've tried it
>imagine being this /pol/tard
We should have built that wall as soon as we annexed texas
I live near one bit haven't gone since I was a kid. Last time I went was Spy Kids/Signs when I was 12. Pretty cool seeing Signs there, I always remember that when I see the birthday scene posted.
You clearly don't live around niggers and spics.
This pic makes me want to cry
this was a shitty and boring life pal
fuck niggers and spics though, they have to be segregated
My dad had old pictures driving his car on Daytona Beach. Americans used to be allowed the coolest freedoms because of trust and responsibility. Now I'm sure you cant drive on the sand because the city wants the spics to litter all over it instead.
Too many spic and negroes. Chances of you getting mugged is higher.
Drive-ins were absolute garbage
>shitty ass barely comprehensible radio audio
>constant sporadic engine sounds around you
>constant opening and closing of car doors
>watching a film through a windshield of your car and the reflections of other cars
>people constantly walking around your car going to the bathroom/get snacks
>the screen being absolute shit, especially out in the open
The only thing it was good for is that it was a good excuse to fuck a girl in the car
He most likely is one and hasn't figured out yet that everyone on this site hates him.
I wonder if places still play The Ten Commandments on occasion. It's one of the very few Golden Age movies I'd want to see in theaters.
the only reason people liked them was for shit unrelated to the movie. you can dick around at your house or some cheap shit theater where nobody cares, and plus it's air conditioned.
Probably, my local theater has one-off screenings of random movies all the time in between all the current garbage.
There’s one near me. Incredibly popular, three screens showing a double feature from each major studio every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from about March - November. People generally aren’t the problem, but like other anons said, mosquitoes can be terrible, you’re stuck making the decision to run your engine for air or swelter in the summer, rain basically negates the whole thing (otherwise I would have gone to the Godzilla/John Wick showing tonight), and if it’s a long double feature, you run the risk of killing your battery running your speakers. That happened a lot at the Endgame premiere, apparently.
user, don't you know? The Drive-In Will Never Die.
me too user me too
why were old cars so aesthetic, bros? why are they objectively so much better than the vehicles of today? I remember asking my dad this question when i was a kid and he told me something about steel prices and how old cars weren't economically efficient or whatever. but honestly i dont believe him, i think the jews are to blame here
>going to a drive in today is 100% nogs and spics smoking weed and getting into gang fights
ftfy
>frodo baggins fucked a baked potato
kek
seventy years of auto safety regulations mean all new cars have to look like bars of soap
seriously, it's because they were unsafe compared to modern cars. ever wonder why all cars look like shit and look like the same shit nowadays? because it's apparently hte optimal design between cost, function, and not killing the occupants.
seething wh*toid
Cause they get mad when you honk the horn while you're fucking
Nothing was as fun as going to drive ins back in the 80s. Literally kino the movie experience.
Pretty sure you can still drive on sand in Daytona.
>Live in Indiana
>have 2 in the tri city area
Some dude I work with saw Endgame and said it was a mind blowing experience
Because I don't feel comfortable leaving my house
We still have them
I like air conditioning and no mosquitos
as long as he lives the drive in will never die
